She woke up feeling all refreshed like she had being asleep for a hundred years.

She woke up with a yawn and did her morning chores before going down for breakfast,she met her mom who looked shocked for some reason.

What did you do to your hair,she asked her .

What,what is it?,she questioned back and her mom brought a mirror for her to look at her self.

Her eyes widened in shock,her hair was a different colour of black and it had light red streaks on it,she was shocked about the transformation but had to act cool so as not to scare her mom.

Could it be someone snuck into your room last night and did this to you?,her mom asked.

No no I did it,she Interjected and her mom looked confused.

Then why did you act like you had no idea about it,she asked.

well I didn't know that was the reason you were acting up,I thought maybe you saw a bug or something,she lied and her mom looked suspicious but shrugged it off and called her to the table.

Come eat,by the way I like the whole new look,she said all of a sudden and Alexa gave her a warm smile.

This woman was crazy,firstly she acted like she had seen a ghost after looking at my hair now she was saying she loved the new look,Alexa thought as she ate quickly.

As she entered the school head turned wherever she passed and she was used to the attention so it was nothing new,everyone was mesmerized by the new colour of her hair which made her stand out more,she got those stares till she reached her class.

She soon came across Ayden who didn't seem as surprised as the rest he just walked up to her and said"something about you is different,something feels different ",he said seriously.

Don't tell me you are now blind and can't see properly,she said with a scrowl on her face expecting a compliment from him.

It's not the hair,and of course I have eyes,he said.

It's more like you switched soul with someone else before waking up this morning,he added.

What is that supposed to mean?she asked.

You've being smiling since I walked up to you,he said making her look up at him .

If she had her way she would have given him a tight slap to get him back to his senses ,she thought while still looking at him.

A slap isn't enough to make me go back to my senses and by the way you look stunning with the whole look,he said before walking away.

So that means he could read minds ,she mumbled as she took a seat.

The class started immediately and she could not help noticing that the seat for Fred was missing,meaning he didn't come to school today .

Why is that,he was getting better?,she thought about it.

Maybe he needed to rest more,?she convinced herself.

She didn't want it to be that because of their little fight last night he didn't want to see her or talk to her,and yes it was a minor fight and maybe I did overreact but it not my fault,he just doesn't tell me anything,she thought angrily.

If you keep on being unfocused,you won't graduate this year,Ayden whispered to her making her come back to her sense.

Wait did he hear my thoughts,she said inwardly while looking at him before focusing when she saw his eye move towards her,he shook his head with a smile.

School was over quickly and Alexa has being missing out on some study group sessions with her friends.

She made some new friends over at the school,though they were just two it was enough,"it is better to have someone than no one at all".

She headed to the cafe to discuss with the girls,she saw them waiting for her at their table,they waved at her and she waved back.

They were in the same class but it was divided into two so they weren't usually together till they had a free time.

Here is your milkshake,Layla said pushing it to Alexa's side of the table.

i just ordered it like I knew you were going to arrive soon,she added with a smile.

Layla and Spencer have being friends with Alexa for over a week ma dtheir friendship was one anybody could wish for,they spent tike together,talk about different thing they all like to do and places they like to go and stuffs like that.

Thanks,Alexa said to Layla as she took a sip of the milkshake.

So whose house are we going to tus time,Layla asked as the talkative she was.

Alexa we haven't gone to your house,let's go to your house,Layla urged.

we can't,I didn't plan for it and didn't tell my mom,so how about we use your house like always,Alexa said with a smile making Spencer blush.

Ever since Alexa opened the door to the cafe,he had not said anything but followed her with his eyes and seeing her smile so lovingly and charmingly he couldn't help but blush.

Spenz what do you think?,Alexa asked.

If it's alright by Layla,he said with a charming smile.

Their relationship is very complicating,Spencer a charming cute guy who was in love with Alexa but didn't know how to tell her because she was with Fred and it looked like Ayden was after her as well,what was the odds of him competing with them.

while on the other hand Layla was crazy for Spencer and she wasn't the shy type,she would always try to tell him but he would give excuses to leave the place,whenever she tried to hit on him,he would act like he didn't notice it and just shrugged it off.

After a while she stopped trying so it won't ruin their friend ship but that didn't mean she would give up.
