Chapter sixty two
As Vivienne walked towards the dark area that led to the entrance of the bar, she felt like she was being followed. The hair on the back of her neck stood at attention and she felt shivers run down her spine.
Frantically, she turned back to look around the whole area but saw no one. People milled about talking and laughing in excited tones as they walked into the bar. Vivienne shrugged and decided that she was being too paranoid. She heaved a solid breath before walking through the glass doors that led into the bar.
As soon as she stepped in, her eyes trained on Luis who was seated on a barstool and entertaining a lady who was laughing her heart out.
Vivienne felt somehow as she watched the exchange between Luis and the lady and for a moment, she began to overthink the whole situation.
