Chapter one hundred and six
It was late at night and Amelia was just closing for the day. A lot of her workers had gone home, including Pope, but she had chosen to stay back so she could finish up whatever she was doing. A show was being held next week and somehow, Jewel Goddess's past transgressions had been overlooked and they had been given an appointment.
Amelia hadn't broken the news to anyone yet. This was what she had been working on for the past month all alone. She hadn't even told Pope or Gavin as they were the closest people to her in the company.
She would surprise Pope tonight by sending an invitation to him, which would be attached with an explanatory later of how everything had gone. She knew he'd be very much delighted to hear the news.
