"We keep running in circles!" I protest, glaring at the desk before flopping down on my couch. "Why can't anything be simple? Just once!"
"Why don't we call it for tonight?" Randy offered, glancing at Ivan, who nodded, thinking I wasn't paying attention. "I can ask Sierra if she remembers anything. She handled a lot of the pack records."
"It won't matter," I grumbled, irritated with how close and far we were. "This stupid curse won't let you remember the details we need, and even if it did, it'd just send us to another clue."
"I'll try to reach Helena again," Odie sighed, walking toward the door. "Where's Vince? I get a stronger connection when he's around."
"He'll be back in an hour," Ivan lifted my head and sat down, allowing me to lay on his leg. "See what you can find out. Let's leave this until the morning. So far, no attacks, so we should be alright."
