What was that, Mike?

In the previous chapter, we read how Mike had the idea to test Michael and how Robert and Robin convinced him to listen to their advice. So when they reached Mike's room Michael was beating him up, Warden separated them immediately, and Robert and Robin helped Mike up, and Robin whispered in his ears:

Robin: Now you must have understood what Robert meant he was saying that he didn't want to get adopted with Michael indirectly.

He nodded. Mike's shirt was torn but thank god he didn't have bruises, his lips were bleeding, Mike went to the bathroom and cleaned himself up. After he came out, it was time to go but Warden asked him:

Warden: What was that, Mike?

Michael: Mam...we...

Warden: Is your name Mike? Mike, I am asking you something! (cutting his statement)
