While Cliff, a 27 year old young man, was visiting his grandparents, he was caught in what is called a "summoning" which took him to a forest infested with unknown creatures, he decided that in order to survive, he should be ready to brave all the dangers that would present to him, with his “drain” skill he would fight them to become stronger
To The Fortress
Seth Orleth stood on a small hill, observing the movements of the new community of demi-humans that had welcomed him. Two weeks had passed since their meeting, and already he felt strangely connected to them.
Their way of life, their culture, and especially their magic were radically different from anything he had known before.
The demi-humans maintained an intimate relationship with the land and the elements, a spiritual connection that permeated every aspect of their daily lives.
Seth had learned much during these two weeks of immersion. Their rituals, their beliefs, and especially their way of integrating magic into everyday life were revelations for him. Far from the more rigid and disciplined practices of the fortress, here, magic seemed to be a natural extension of their being, fluid and instinctive.
