Someone Called Raknat

Their battle dragged on, each passing minute testing Cliff's patience. Despite his apparent advantage, he struggled to end the confrontation. The two demons facing him still hadn't used their skills. Yet, as demons, each possessed at least two unique abilities and a variety of powers.

So why were they refusing to use them?

The antelope demon, now missing her right arm, held her large sword in her trembling left hand. The injury affected her balance, but each of her swings still carried a brutal force, ready to cut Cliff down at the slightest misstep.

As for the rhino demon, he remained powerful and tenacious, though the bleeding was beginning to wear him down. Cliff knew that this adversary would eventually weaken, but for that to happen, he needed to keep up the pressure and brace for a final, all-out assault.
