While Cliff, a 27 year old young man, was visiting his grandparents, he was caught in what is called a "summoning" which took him to a forest infested with unknown creatures, he decided that in order to survive, he should be ready to brave all the dangers that would present to him, with his “drain” skill he would fight them to become stronger
Geb ran at an incredible speed, no longer caring about being noticed. He reached a pace he never thought possible, his heartbeat pounding like a war drum, urging his body to go even faster.
His face was etched with fear, but also with fierce determination. He darted through the forest, dodging low-hanging branches and treacherous roots. The urgency of the moment haunted him. He had to be faster—fast enough to catch up with the others and deliver the message.
A message that had frozen his blood when he deciphered its macabre lines.
"You are ordered to attack. Ignore the base and its defenders. The canal is the priority."
These words burned in his mind, the first lines written on the parchment he had found on the corpse of an enemy messenger.
He hadn't had time to read it over and verify his interpretation, but its meaning seemed clear: the enemy was already advancing, ready to strike with a force they had never faced before.
