Author's POV

'What do you think will happen next?'Lena asked.

'We'll be okay, like some idiot like us being a murderer. I can't think about it.' Haera replied.

'maybe...'

'Don't start please, you and your paranoid head.'

Lena wasn't thinking anything straight. Knowing Lena , Haera stood closer to her. She whispered in Lena's ear: ' Stop being paranoid, won't you? It's nothing that's happening here. We mind our business and they'll mind their own, okay?'

Lena's parents died when she was about 14 years. She is traumatized by their death. They died infront of her. As Haera is her childhood friend, she has been with her ever since that incident. She is the only person who helped Lena to overcome that . No one know who is their murderer and the only one present there was Lena. But she forgot who killed them.

Haera's POV

Just when she started to forget about that night, more things are happening which reminds her about that. What am I gonna do now? What is really happening now? I hope it's not something related to that incident. Is the murder really under control? Why are they going to this much lengths?

Author's POV

' As everyone already know why we are here, I think more explanation isn't needed. So if you all will co-operate with us, it will be a lot easier. So please can you all stand from your seats. Those who finished checking can sit.' A man, who looks like their leader said.

' Isn't he the chief commissioner of the country? Is it really that much big case?' some students talked.

Soon the atmosphere became more tensed. Lena's hands started shaking. She started sweating and felt the world around her spinning. She fainted, Haera was quick enough to hold her. She seated Lena gently in the seat.

' Someone, a little help here. My friend fainted.' Haera said a little louder.

Chief noticed it. 'Those who finished checking take her to the infirmary. And miss, may we check you so that you can go with your friend.' He said

'Yeah, sure but make it a little faster,please.' Haera answered.

Haera POV

What now! Why did she fainted out of nowhere? Are the memories coming back to her? I better hurry.

I heard voices coming from the infirmary. Maybe she woke up. When I entered I saw she lying on the bed, she was awake. The doctor was talking to her.

Author's POV

' I'm okay now. Thankyou for taking care of me.' Lena said to the doctor.

' I was simply doing my duty.' The doctor replied.

Haera came into the infirmary. The doctor called Haera outside of the infirmary.

' How are you related to miss. Lena?' Doctor asked.

' I happened to be her bestfriend.' She replied.

' I noticed that ms. Lena is afraid, do you know the reason why?'

' She is indeed afraid. I don't know if she'll allow me to tell you the reason. For your information, she is traumatized.'

' Did she get enough treatment?'

' I think she did.'

Lena's POV

What are they talking about? Probably related to me I think. I don't know what happened to me there.

That chief, I think I've seen him somewhere. But when though? Is he somewhere in my head? May be just some hallucinations made up by my mind.

My parents' murder can't be related to this, or is it? What's happening ? There are still some missing pieces in me , I think the answers are hidden in them.

Author's POV

Haera came back after talking with the doctor.

' You're back, what did he say?' Lena asked.

' He told me that you need more nutrition and you need to focus more on your health.' Haera replied.

' Oh, I thought he would ask about something else.'

' Like what?'

' Like about my mental health? I think.'

' Why does he need to ask about that?'

' Nothing, just my paranoid mind working.'

' He didn't asked me, okay. Now tell that mind of yours to take some rest.'

' haha, okay let's see if it will obey you.'

' It should or else...'

' I know , I know you'll come to smack it to mars'

' Behold the power of the honoured one, haha.'

' Pfft, the honoured one!??! '

' Why can't I be? '

' You'll always be a kitten in my every point of view, I can't even imagine. Maan, I'll die from laughter. Hahaha'

' You could atleast think me of something else , why a kitten?? '

Lena's POV

It's still suspicious. Why is she acting like this? What is she hiding from me? Is she afraid of me?
