The Fight

With all that said, Aiden couldn't blame the students too. Even though he came from another world —where there was nothing like the Gate of Magic — he could still understand the anger the students felt at this moment.

It was just like the principal suddenly taking away a break from the timetable for no reason in his previous world, essentially destroying the only time students had free time to enjoy themselves.

And although the situation was different, the motive behind it was nevertheless the same. Someone was trying to take something important from them.

If they allow the man to take the Gate of Magic away, then what would happen to the latter generations then? They would simply be unable to awaken their powers and they would remain mortals for the rest of their lives. This was simply unacceptable!

********

"What do you mean by that?" Mr White asked yet again, with a cold gaze. At the same time, he sent Mr Bai a message through telepathy to close the gate of Magic.

"Hah," the middle-aged man sighed, "Are you going to pretend as if you have no idea about what I am trying to say? Well, let me put it in much simpler words than, 'I am simply here to take away the Gate of Magic!'"

"Outrageous! Andras, Do you think I can't do anything to you?" Mr White said in anger. However, he didn't try to fight him. He was just trying to stall time in order for Mr Bai to close the Gate of Magic.

Once it was closed, even mid-ranked Ascension realm experts can't open it without the key.

As he and Andras continued to stand there, Mr Bai suddenly appeared again. Seeing him, Mr White heaved a sigh of relief. However, when he looked closer, he realized that Mr Bai had a very unpleasant expression on his face. As if something had happened. Seeing this, Mr White had a bad premonition which would be confirmed soon.

As soon as Mr Bai returned, he rushed towards Mr White and sent a voice transmission to him.

"I can't close the Gate of Magic. I tried but it wasn't responding!"

The message was short and brief but Mr White's heart immediately sunk when he heard it. He turned around trying to confront Andras, when he heard the latter's voice.

"Haha, is t that you can't close the gate?"

"What did you do?" Mr White's gaze immediately turned chilly and the area around him immediately dropped in temperature too. Aiden and Ace couldn't help but back away. As for the principals following Mr White, they didn't back away like Aiden and the rest, they simply stood there but they still had frowns on their faces.

"Haha, you should calm down Mr White, you are scaring the kids,"

At this moment, the man who all the coldness from Mr White was targeted suddenly laughed heartily as he pointed at Aiden and Ace. He didn't seem affected one bit.

It was as if what Mr White was doing was just a joke to him. Something that wasn't even worth mentioning. Seeing this Mr White couldn't help but frown. He was no fool and from the way Andras was acting, he could tell that he wasn't affected by his presence at all.

"Mr White, I will be taking the gate away. I think I am running out of time..." Andras said as he took a small orb from his pocket. It looked much more like a test orb but Aiden could tell that what he was seeing wasn't a test orb at all.

However, before Andras could even make a move, Mr White did. He pointed a finger at Andras and shot a beam of water at him. 'Turns out Mr White is also a water mag,' Aiden thought as he saw the beam shoot towards Andras. When he saw Mr White approach Ace he was still confused since he couldn't tell his talent just from a mere glance.

However, after seeing Mr White use the water beam, a move that was highly popular among water mages, Aiden seemed to have gotten it. It might have been because Mr White was looking for someone who had the same power as him in order to take him as his disciple. Most likely, all the people he chose failed the talent test and that was probably the main reason why He had no disciples till now.

He only tried Ace because he was trying to see if he had a decent talent; which Ace did and that made Mr White extend an invitation towards him to be his student.

As Aiden fell into a trance trying to figure out the reason why Mr white choose Ace to be his student, he suddenly heard a huge boom. Snapping out of a daze, he turned his sights toward the source of the sound.

It turns out that the beam from Mr White had already landed on its target. Turning his head to Andras, Aiden realized that there was a cloud of mist around him and that made his figure hard to see.

After the mist cleared though, Aiden couldn't help but be shocked by what he was seeing. Andras looked completely fine as if he hadn't just taken an attack in. Yet at this moment, he had a cold smile on his face. He turned his sights to Mr White before declaring coldly,

"Are you sure that is the direction you want to take?"

"Hmph! What if that is the direction I want to take?" Mr White snorted in annoyance. Saying that he slowly rose into the sky, planning to face Andras there. As he did he also told he remaining heads to protect everyone below them.

"You do care a lot about your students though," Andras commented as he looked at Mr White who was standing a few metres away from him.

"Hmph!" Mr White snorted, "I am only going to give you one chance. Take the orb you have with you and leave! else dont blame me for being..."

"Blame you for being what? Rude? Hehe, turns out I want to find out how strong you are when you are rude!" Andras declared as he shot a fist at Mr White.

"Hmph!" Mr White snoted as he also shot a fist of his own to meet the incoming fist.
