First Time Cultivating (2)

Unlike skills in the Mortal realm, finding skills in the Ascension realm had never been heard of in the entire history of Phoenix city.

Mortal realm skills and techniques can actually be used by those in the Elementary realm and above. Ascension realm skills and techniques just like Mortal realm skills could only be used by Ascension Realm experts and above. This was the same for Saint realm skills and techniques as they could only be used by Saint Realm experts and above, if there was even people above Saint realm.

However, even though Ascension Realm experts like Mr White and the mayor could be found in Phoenix city, no Ascension Realm techniques or skills and skill had been found yet.

Why was that?

Well, it was because of the rarity of Ascension Realm skills and techniques. Finding one in a small City like Phoenix City was almost impossible and unheard of.

This was the reason why Aiden was so shocked when he heard the minimum requirement of getting a soul cultivation technique. This was indeed difficult to do.

"Since cultivating the soul is so difficult, why do you want me to cultivate it? Can I even cultivate it?" Aiden asked with serious expression in his face. Since only Ascension Realm experts could cultivate with Ascension Realm techniques, why was he worrying about cultivating his soul. He could simply do it when he got there.

"For your first question, I would simply say.... I have a soul technique that you can use," Ariel said.

"What did you say?" Aiden asked with wide eyes. What he just heard almost made his eyes pop out of their sockets.

"I said that I had a soul cultivation technique for you!" Ariel repeated with an annoyed tone.

She was annoyed by the fact that Aiden was asking such a stupid question. What was he thinking?

That she would lie to him about the training and provide him with a false technique? Or was he thinking that she had no technique in the first place? Was she really that unreliable?

Aiden on the other hand, was thinking about something completely different from what Ariel assumed. He was shocked.

Yes, shocked! After all, no one from a small village like Phoenix City wouldn't react when they heard of a Ascension Realm technique.

Moreover, it was technique and not a spell. Techniques were far more difficult to find as compared to spells. Spells were very easy to find.

It was the main reason why even though Phoenix City had multiple Mortal level spells, it had zero Mortal level techniques.

"Are you sure?" Aiden asked for confirmation.

"Why ask something you already know?" Ariel rolled her eyes.

"I see," Aiden nodded grimly. His previous shock had fadded away by now. He was back to his senses now.

"But, even though you have an Ascension Realm technique about cultivating souls, there is no way I can cultivate it," Aiden said.

There was a reason why the realms of spells and techniques were almost the same as their Cultivation realms. It was mainly because only people in certain cultivation realms can cultivate spells in certain Realms.

For example, there was no way an elementary realm Mage can actually cultivate an Ascension Realm technique or spell. They will just be asking for their deaths by doing something like that.

But Ariel wanted him to cultivate an Ascension Realm technique. In fact, he couldn't even be considered a Mage yet as even though he has a power source, he has no idea about how to use it. Asking him, whose cultivation wasn't even at the elementary realm to cultivate an Ascension Realm technique, wasn't that just stupidity?

"Who said you can't cultivate Ascension Realm techniques?" Ariel asked.

"Huh? I can?" Aiden asked in disbelief.

"Of course! The main reason why it is largely beleived that those of lower realms can't cultivate higher realm technique or spells is because they don't have enough energy. However, I don't think you have the problem!" Ariel said as she glanced at his power source. Her gaze changed as she did this, but a split second later, she recovered immediately.

Even though it happened in a split second, Aiden notice it. Her eyes shown with fear, deep fear.

This made him wonder what was making her so scared. His power source? Maybe.

For now, he decided to focus on the task at hand.

"So you are saying that I can cultivate an Ascension Realm technique because of the Hugh amount of energy in my power source?" Aiden asked for confirmation.

"Uhn.." Ariel nodded.

"I see."

Ever since he learnt about his power source, he immediately realized that his power source was very abnormal. Not only was it huge, it was far more powerful than any power source he had heard of.

According to what he found on the internet from a trusted website, the biggest power sources of mages in the elementary realm was the size of a coconut.

However, his power source was more than a million times larger than that. Not only was it huge, it was far stronger than the power sources of normal mages.

All along, he has thought his power source was a burden and maybe a danger to his life. He never knew that it could allow him to cultivate Ascension Realm techniques. After all, what kind of power source attacked their master?

... Only his does!

"So what do you say? Are you going to do it?" Ariel asked after a while.

"Let me think about it first," Aiden said as he pondered.

For most people, they would be questioning Ariel, however due to the 'link' between him and her, he was able to detect if she was lying or not.

In fact, he could even force her to tell him what she was hiding. As the master he could do anything to his servant.

He had already authenticate what she said and they were true. So he just has consider his options carefully.

"HM, I choose the body cultivation!" Aiden said after a while.
