A new leader
A month had quickly passed since the tragic days the Qin Clan suffered. The lives that were lost were remembered during this past month.
In total, 12 members of the Qin Clan had passed; the clan leader, 2 elders, 6 guards and a few bystanders. For the first time, the Qin clan, from old to young, felt the cruelty of the cultivation world!
Like's of Qin Wei and Leng, went into seclusion to train. Both having a shot to experience the flame serpent inheritances.
While those two trained, Qin Mei became the world of attention in the clan. The disciple of a person that was considered a god in front of the clan people. She drew a large crowd of attention! First it was the clan folks, then it became the neighboring clans.
It became to the point where she became sick of it and thankfully Qin clan leaders were able to put a stop to it.
At the moment, on a few people visited Qin Mei, the grand elder, or Yuan Ai.
Currently at Qin Su family house. 5 people are seated next to a table.
" Aunty Ai, how are you feeling? '' Spoke to Qin Mei, as she looked towards the woman that sat in front of her, Yuan Ai.
Due to her husband's death, daughters married off, and her son in training. Yuan Ai, started to visit Qin mei more often and often!
To the point, she enjoyed the family time that started to develop in the past 2 weeks. During the visits, QIn Su acted like a man but took his chances!
He was careful! She had just lost her husband, and he needed to be careful. Her heart was still healing, but Qin Su knew he could have a chance.
He took those small chances! Be it helping with the plates, even at time's walking her back, and even using the skills he obtained from the inheritance he was slowly working his magic. But he was still giving her room and time.
" Little Mei, have you heard anything from your master" spoke Yuan Ai, as she ate from her plate.
" No, Aunty! I do not know where he went! He did all that and left a mess for me..ooop sorry aunty, I should not be complaining about myself"
"Haha, do not worry dear. We live in a world where death is around us every second. It something that we must life with" Yuan Ai, said as she looked off to the distant, seemingly in her mind.
" ahhh, but it looks like trouble is fast approaching the clan"
" ooh why is that Aunt Ai" QIn Su asked
"The fight for the leader spot! There's no true leader at the moment. The grand elders want to be the new leaders, while the 3rd and 4th elders are also wishing for the position. And then the last few want me to be the leaders, until little Wei is ready. Even the people are undecided, and I fear this might bring more trouble. If only Qin Mei's master was here, he could help determine who the leader would become in a peaceful manner.
" I see" said Qin Su, as several thoughts appeared in his head.
Part of the reason, while Yuan AI enjoyed coming to the house, was it brought her relaxation! All the stress would leave her body. This partially thanks to Qin Su, with a much higher cultivation base, he was able to enter her mind and relax her both physically and mentally.
He also had negative thoughts about getting into head, but decided not to. He was to work slowly and get the final award when he desired!
Just than a guard came running in the house.
" My lady, Dong Hai, of the Lute royal clan is here and waiting for you in the main hall!
"What! Not now. Fine I will head over'
" Excuse me, I have a meeting to attend to," said Yuan Ai, as she walked out of the house.
When she had left, Qin Su had actually noticed a change in mood in her, which brought interest to him.
" Mom,I am going to head out! Don't worry I will be safe" and with that he left.
" That boy! He just started coming back home and now leaving."
"Hmm, that boy has wild dreams, it's best if he calms down" spoke his father
" ooh come on dear, where't you like him as well? Unlike you he actually has the guts to make a girl feel welcome"

At the Qin Clan's main hall
A young man, standing around 5'9, with a spear on his back stood looking towards the outer part of the clan. He had blue curly hair, and he looked nothing older than 30!
This was Dong Hai! The King of the lute Country and one of the most powerful individuals in the entire continent.
In his prime, he was ranked number 1 among all girls ,while Yuan Ai was ranked first amongst the boys with the best looks and talent.
Many thought they were a match made in heaven. But that was not the case, thanks to an arranged marriage set by the lute royal clan and another royal clan from a different continent.
But, that hasn't stopped Dong hai from trying. There have been rumors of his attempts, and now was another shot.
Finally Yuan Ai arrived in the hall.
" Brother Hai, you should have told me that you were coming. I would have been better prepared!
" Do not mind! I just left my seclusion and when I heard what happened I rushed over to meet you!" said Dong hai, as he walked over toYuan AI. While staring at the busty figure in front of him.
" Thank You, brother Hai, its all thanks to mysterious matters that saved us!
" This Mysterious Master, Ai, where is he? It's almost like he had disappeared! Not only that Ai, I too have stepped into the Spirit shattering realm! Look" Dong Hai released the full potential of his power.

" Is it another attack!"
" its seems be coming from the main house"
Watching the display of power, Yuan Ai collapsed her hands together into a fist. " Congratulations brother Ai, truly congratulations! Your clan will climb to higher grounds now"
" Yes, But Ai you know why I am here, what I want. Please ley me be there to protect you! You know it was meant to be! If certain things didn't happened, if he was not involved, than it would have been different"
'Different! Please stop, you made your choice, and I have zero regrets now. My answer to you will always be no! So please, stop and if that is why you're here, then leave. "
"Listen to me Ai, I can protect you! I will even get revenge for you! I have the strength!
" Just stop! And leave"
On the out side of the Main hall. Qin Su stood as he watched the events happening.
"These bastards, what are these bastards trying to get at? Just then he noticed Dog Haim took a step towards Yuan Ai, and tried to give a hug to her!
Back in the main hall.
" Ai, please come here and listen to what I have to stay"
'Stop it now! Don't come close to me!"
Just than a voice cut in.
" Did you not hear the lady? leave ? spoke the voices, as a cold chill appeared around Dong Hai.
" senior, may I know who you are" asked Dong hai, as he slowly moved towards his spear on his back
" You do not need to know. Now leave! "
'Senior, I apologize, but I can not do that! This is very important, to me, the Qin clan, and Yuan AI, So.."
" Shut Up!"
" You have nothing to do with the Qin clan, nor the lady . This is just about you, and no one cares so leave, before my patiences runs out!
" Senior! I Ca..."
Just than a tremor broke through area, several shock waves sounded around the area.
" That was a warning, but do not test me again! Leave"
" Yes, Senior. I will" and just like that the mighty Dong Hai disappeared!
Leaving the onlookers stunned, including Yuan Ai.
After a while, she turned around, and bowed.
" Thank You senior, I.."
" Do not worry. I have heard that there is an issue in determining the next Clan leader?"
" ahh, yes senior"
" I see..hmm, I have a solution. Let me announce this to the entire Clan"
" Tomorrow, the Flame Serpent sword will be used to determine the next Qin clan leader. Those that can be chosen by the sword will be the next leader! Now prepare until tomorrow'
With that the voice disappeared.
The following day, a new leader was selected.! Qin Cai was the new leader. Did Qin Su have a part in this, maybe maybe not. Maybe he wanted more time with his future women.
