Chapter 1                                     

At the beginning of the journey 

At the top of a building, in Washington DC.

A young foreigner was talking with her mom and asked her to send her abroad to study as she didn't visit any other cities other than her hometown. Even though her mother gave her permission to stay in Korea for three years she still didn't allow her to choose everything on her own. she decided to enrol her on a school in Seoul where only the wealthy kids study. To give her friends who are wealthy as she was homeschooled and didn't interact with people of her age.

The next day, 6:00 am Seoul airport, Summer season.

A plane lands and the passengers are coming out of the airport."Hey, look at two foreigners they look good right." A cab driver said to his friend. The cab driver goes forward to ask them to board the cab but suddenly there were a group of men with white suits who surrounded the ladies and take them to a sports car which is surrounded by a fleet of cars that are worth a ton of money. After seeing this the cab driver returns to his friend who was standing near his cab." They would most likely be some rich kids who came to celebrate the end of their summer holidays." said the cab driver's friend.

On the other side.

(Our male leads)Two rich and handsome friends surfing on the beach with their built bodies showing out and all the girls on the beach falling head over heels at the first sight the moment they came out of the water they were crowded with reporters asking questions to both of them." Will your fathers make another joint project to make your company's rise." asked a reporter. The male lead Seo Sejong answered the question with a savage reply "we don't do joint projects to rise cause, we are already over the moon and the moon is below us." And gets a smack from his friend Lee Yeon and got dragged away by him from the reporters and left the place without answering any other questions of the reporters.

Back to the female lead Hope and her mom reaches the hotel with their bodyguards and went to the top floor VIP room and opened the door, while her mom wasn't satisfied with the luxurious room as she thought it won't be as comfortable as their mansion but for Hope, it was a new experience as she always stayed in her home with her family members, maids and butlers. She thought it was fun to stay in a room at the tallest tower all alone was giving her a thrill. As she is new to Korea the manager of the ASV branch of Korea Mr George personally took her and her mom on a ride and showed the wonderful things inside and around Seoul.

They visited the park, aquarium and some tourist places and at last, they came to the school in which she was enrolled recently. The school was a gigantic place with many large buildings which is just like the schools she used to see in dramas. she stepped inside the school while there was no one in the school except some staff and the principal as it is the summer holidays. She was looking disappointed as the school felt empty. Her mother confronted her by saying that it is the summer holiday and when she comes here back after a month it will be just like the school she saw in the movies and It will be like she is living in a movie, so just wait for your first day of the school said her mom. The teacher who came rushing towards them after hearing they came here took them for a school tour they visited places like the school hall, classrooms, auditorium, garden, swimming pool, staff room, principal office, and some group activities places like music club, chemistry club, dance club etc, After finishing the tour of the school her mom asked the manager George about the best places to buy fresh vegetables and the best place to eat food as Hope will be staying there and she is new to Korea. Even though she was staying at her home from the moment she was born and hadn't been out of the eyesight of her parents when she went out but she was still taught by her dad how to interact with other people and how to judge strangers with their activities and she can also read other's mind when she focuses thinking the moment she spends with them.

After having dinner at a large hotel she sent off her mom to the airport and she was dropped at the hotel by manager George. The manager George instructed Hope to give him a call if she needs anything and he hands over the credit card which was sent by her brother Eric. She quickly ran to the room and enjoyed her first time alone while jumping on the bed. When she turned on her TV and watched the shows her dad called her mobile phone. She was scolded so much by him that she wasn't able to sleep peacefully the whole night.

 At next day morning, she went to the mall and purchased the mall like literally the mall as she didn't know what to buy at the shop as all of her clothes are bought by her mom. she went to all the shops in the mall and picked whatever she liked and called Mr George to send any of his trusted men to look after the mall for her. The staff working at the mall have already begun to gossip about their new young female boss who is rich and as beautiful as a pearl. As she was bored she took her diary and went to the park to write about the things that happened and how she felt staying in there.

She sat on a bench and looked at the evening sun and started writing her diary. When she was writing the diary there came a basketball approaching her at a high speed she quickly caught the ball and kept it near her and searched for the person who threw the ball at her. They were two handsome boys her age walking towards her wearing a basketball uniform and carrying a cute cat in their hands. They approached her and talked to her in English as they figured she was a foreigner just by her looks. Even though she knows how to speak Korean she replied to them in English as if they were strangers and it was the first time they met. They apologized and asked for the ball. She replied to it right away that she will give them the ball only if they give that kitty to her so that she can play with it for some time and return it to them when they leave the park. She was overjoyed and as they gave the kitty to play with her and took the ball it was her first time to play with the kitty as his father hates kitty but they did have a dog in her home.

After some time those two boys returned and asked for the cat as they were returning to their home. She asked them will they come to the park regularly as she wants to play with the cats regularly those two replied politely that they shall meet here daily at 4 p.m. She agreed to it right away and said that I will be waiting for my time with your cat again, thank you. After that, she formally introduced herself to them.

She said that "My name is Hope may I know you're name?". The boy with blond hair replied that his name is Seo Sejong and she can call him what she feels comfortable calling and the boy with black hair replied with an unhappy face and low tone that his name is Lee Yeon and he also said that the cat's name is Sophia. Seo Sejong confronted Hope as she would misunderstand Yeon and said that Yeon is just shy around girls. And said that if she doesn't mind can he call her Hope. She replied that she would also prefer calling Hope than being called ms. hope.

After their conversation, they returned home as it was getting late. As hope reached home she cooked some ramen and started eating as she was thinking about Sejong and Yeon and started talking to herself that they were looking handsome aren't they?. And went to the bed and started recording all the things that happened on that day including the normal meeting of them which is going to turn into a precious meeting that they could never forget.
