THE CHANGE

<p>When Lia was five the change happened her mother began to change towards her and Lia had some bad experiences. Lia as a child was an outgoing, bold, sweet and confident child, with the lots of love she received from people made her a little spoilt, At that point, Lia's mom Sharon White was already six months pregnant she and her husband were trying for another child, so she did not have enough time to take care of Lia and household chores to top it off dealing with pregnancy symptoms was not easy and she was in her sixth month already no one was available to help her husband who was supposed to be around has traveled for work, she and Lia were alone. Anytime there was chance she would send Lia away, it was not that she doesn't love her child but the stress was overwhelming, This particular day when one of her neighbor asked to take Lia out she agreed immediately, not long after they left Mrs Sharon White got a call from her neighbor telling her that Lia was involved in an accident she almost fainted from shock , the neighbor told her the address of the hospital she immediately left for there. At the hospital Lia was seen lieing on the bed with bandages around her head left hand and leg. The doctor confirmed she was alright , she just had minor injuries which would recover soon and was advised the medicine prescribed on time then he left after Mrs Sharon ran into the room, when she saw her daughter she burst into tears and made up her mind not to let Lia out that easily again, true to her word since that day Mrs White never allowed her follow people out but Lia was also very stubborn and she did no want to listen, she thought her mum has changed towards her this was the beginning of the distance between mother and daughter. Three months after Mrs White gave birth to a pair of twins a boy and a girl, they named the boy Drake Junior White and the girl Pearl Lisa White. Lia been the outgoing and friendly type liked going out and visiting her friend so that day she visited her friends and they were playing, though Lia was a smart kid but when it comes to friendship she becomes dumb, she was playing with the three sisters when the oldest brought the idea of an experiment she said they will light a match and use it on Lia's back to see what would happen at first Lia refused but they threatened her with friendship and Lia not wanting to loose her friend reluctantly agreed and they did it when they lighted the match and placed it on Lia's back she screamed and her mother heard her at that time Lia was scared of her mum and her mum had always warned her about all this things but she would not listen and end up regretting her actions so she was a little withdrawn from her mum and closer to her dad,when she screamed the three sisters begged her not to wat anything that they didn't mean for that to happen and they said they would treat the wounds for her Lia blindly believed them and when her mother asked what happened she told her mother nothing happened then the three sisters started "treating her wounds" by peeling them and adding salt to it. Lia left them immediately they were done and went to her father to tell him what had happened she told him not to tell her mother but to her disappointment her father told her mum and her mum scolded her and treated the wounds properly for six months Lia carried the wound and felt a lot of pain and since then she promised never to be their friend again few months after her wound had healed the family if the three sisters packed away and never to be seen again and Lia continued her life though she noticed that her mother's attitude was changing especially to her and she did not know what could have happened but she ignored it because Lia really loved her mother a lot her mother had given to two children after her a boy and a girl, the boy whose name was Sam and the girl Felicia she also had paternal and maternal grandparents and an extended family<br/>Time went by though Lia still had some bad experiences but she got through it for example rolling down a long stairs twice someone hitting her head to a wall someone hitting her head with a stick and so on then it was finally decided that Lia would stop going to people's or neighbours house to visit them or play it was preferable for her to stay in her own house</p>
