Only Death awaits you

After crossing several mountains, the ice giant and the boys arrived at a small settlement. Even though the sky was covered in clouds and everything was dark they knew that the sun had already set as several hours had passed since they were dragged back into the forest by the female giant.

Lukas, what will happen now? She brought us to her home, is she planning to kill us here asked Andrew. He had some what calmed down now but started getting panicked watching the settlement.

I wanna go home! I don't want to die! Johan please! do something! said Kasper. He was crying non stop which made the giant annoyed and she would increase their pace pulling the chains making them fall on the ground.

Kasper hold yourself together, nothing will happen to us. Nobody is gonna die. I am sure by now the whole village would be searching for us. So till then you must remain strong, alright? said Johan to which Kasper nodded.

When Kasper calmed down, Lukas whispered to Johan. Now tell me seriously, what are we gonna do. You too know that this giant is taking us to her people to execute us said Lukas while pointing towards the settlement.

Don't worry, the elders would come for us. They are mages, I am sure they could take care of these ice giants Said Johan. But Lukas said otherwise. You seriously believe that? Yes they are mages and they perform magic but they no warriors. They are just some mages of a borderline human village. While the enemy we are talking about are mythical creatures. We don't know anything about them and whatever stories and tales we heard of them aren't any good.

Upon hearing this Johan couldn't deny it. Ice giants were said to be the children of the Titan god Frost. Even though they didn't inherit their father's immortality but in terms of physical strength and magic they were second to none. Up until now he believed these were just myths told to children but now he wasn't sure anymore.

Soon all them reached the Ice giant's settlement, it was situated in the deep western part of the forest surrounded by four small mountains. Unlike the human's village, the houses here were huge and built using grey stones. They were stopped by two male giants at the entrance of the settlement. Like the female giant they too had bluish skin and white hair but unlike the female giant they had a much Burley body and their eyes were pure silver with no iris while the female giant had blue eyes. They bowed in front of the female giant after which they looked at us and then back to the female giant.

They spoke in some unknown language that Johan was only able to figure out that these were the gaurds and they were inquiring the female giant about them. When the female giant spoke the gaurd became angry and unsheathed their swords and pointed them at them but the female giant stopped them in time and said something in a rough voice after which they put their swords down and let them pass.

The female giant dragged us through the small settlement. There were many male and female giants on the roads. All of them were staring us. Some had a disgusted look on their faces and spat on the ground while others simply ignored us.

They kept on walking and stopped infront of a huge building. It was the only three storey building in the whole settlement. And it had various decorations and designs. It looked like a small palace. And was heavily gaurded

The female giant hopped off the wolf and dragged them to the palace. But before entering the female giant turned around. And for the first time they saw the giant smiling but her eyes didn't matched her smile. They were still cold. Then the giant spoke get ready, you all are going to die pretty soon. The boys were shocked to hear her speak their language. And don't hope that your people will come for you. Your fate is already sealed! only death awaits you said the female giant.
