Chapter 41: Unexpected boons

Reaching Saffron City took almost 10 hours and while travelling he met a traveller that was sitting besides him and when he got to knew her name he was a little surprised as she was Lily of the sensational sisters.

On the way to Saffron city they got acquainted with each other and he asked her all the information he wanted to know beforehand about the City. After reaching Saffron city the first thing he did was find a restaurant and eat a dinner. He also invited Lily but she refused as she had to meet some people but they did exchange there contact information.

In a restaurant Kaede was waiting to get his ordered food when out of the window he saw a gang of thugs being chased by Alliance Police and while they were able to apprehend most of the thugs except one person so seem to be the boss of this gang. The bossman was a ruthless character he used all sorts of tricks to help him run away but when he was surrounded he did something terrifying, The bossman used his Wheezing to enter a nearby building and use Self Destruct and by coincidence this building was precisely the restaurant that Kaede was in.

Immediatly Kaede used Zubat's help and jumped out of the window thus saving his life but the Self Destruct ability of this Wheezing was too powerful and the whole building came crashing down.

While on the ground when dust settled Kaede could be seen panting and you could also see some bruises. He didn't go scott free but he managed to save himself. As he was getting up and preparing to leave the place he heard a pleading sound asking for help turning around he saw a little girl lying on the ground under some ruble bleeding profusely.

He hesitated a little but eventually made his way to the girl and got her out of the ruble he saw a piece of glass sticking out of her chest. He immediately released Bellosome and asked her to use Grassy terrain on her while slowly pulling out the piece of glass. Visible to the naked eye the wound healed at a rapid pace and the girl fell asleep. Kaede took her in his arms and started moving out of the building but hust then a peice of steel beams broke and started falling right on top of his head seeing this Kaede froze and was very scared thinking that this might be it but these beam stopped in mid air as if floating.

Looking up he could see a girl with and Alakazam using psychic to make the beam and debri fly.

This girl was none other than Sabrina. She used her psychic effectively and started removing the people buried in the ruble and dismantled the building. This display of power was awe inspiring. Kaede focused on the girl in his hand and took her to nearest Nurse joy and left her in her care but before he could leave Nurse joy stopped him and asked "Please help us i saw you use your Bellosome to heal the little girl. My Clefable is exhausted and may need rest but these patients are too much hury and may die please use Grassy Terrain here".

Maybe seeing Kaede put his life on the line to save the life of a girl he didn't even knew Nurse joy thought of him as a good person. Even though he wanted to refuse he couldn't as he would literally be blacklisted by Nurse joy if he chose not to help.

Thus releasing Bellosome he commanded "Bellosome use Grassy Terrain on these people but prioritise the people who are severely injured". Bellosome nodded and used her move and in a blink of an eye a large green carpet of grass emerged and engulfed the injured patients and started healing them. Bellosome used Grassy Terrain 5 times before exhaisting herself by now Clefable had have enough rest thus he took over.

Nurse Joy was very happy watching the patients condition stabilize and thanked Kaede profusely. Nurse joy promised Kaede some reward which for courtesy sake he refused but on insistence he gave his information to Nurse joy. But seeing the Alliance id card of Kaede Nurse joy was surprised to see that he was a commoner and his Alliance id card was just a basic one with no features. After taking some time to talk to Nurse Joy he left the area to rest a little and booked a room in the Pokemon center. The culprit that did all this was nowhere to be found and he managed to runaway.

After some time he recieved his rewards for help. "I never thought i would get such a huge surprise. I should be considered a double agent now. Not only do I have the status of a Team Rocket soldier, but I also now have the status of an Alliance primary trainer. It's really strange." In the small room, he was lying on the bed, looking at the brand new Alliance ID card in his hand, thought secretly.

The Alliance ID card in his hand at this time is almost exactly the same as his previous Alliance ID card, except for a little more silver lace on the surface.

But just adding some silver lace, the Alliance ID card in his hand represents a very different meaning from the past. This is an ID card that represents a non-lineage or a commoner trainer of Alliance. The previous Id card of Kaede was only able to get him in Alliance buildings and use some of its service but now He could be considered a full fledge Alliance trainer.

Yes, starting today, Sato Kaede is a true Alliance Trainer.

Now that he has this brand new ID card, he can not only enjoy discounted medical services in the Pokémon Center in the future, but also can access the Alliance internal network and receive the mission issued by the Alliance in the Pokémon Center.

And the most important point is that with this ID that represents the identity of a non-affiliated Alliance Trainer, he is finally eligible to participate in the Pokémon leagues and contest held by the Pokémon Alliance in various regions.

He was very happy and exhausted so he cose to sleep. He woke up at 7.30 in the morning and after having breakfast it was again time for Pokemon physical training which was the same as before completing it wothing 2 hours.
