Maybe He Was Useless!
Staring at his hands and then staring at the preserved meat on the ground, Di Tou couldn't help but feel a bit of doubt. The last time he tried, admittedly, had been quite a while ago, but it hadn't gone very well as he had pretty much stabbed and slashed his way to the beast's core.
In addition, while the jade slip did detail many different Ferocious Beasts and how to butcher them, it was mainly in regards to preserving the Beast Core, tendons, and other such materials. … while there were certain animals that had valuable pelts, for the most part, it was ignorable, so it was never a priority resource for harvest.
