Most people don't choose reincarnation. Reincarnation finds their way to them. Perhaps they did something great in their life. Or maybe truck-sama wasn't looking where it was going. But without fail, those who reincarnate are destined for something great. A new life where everything changes for the better. But... Reincarnation isn't always the greatest thing. Sometimes you just draw the short end of the stick. Di Tou just happens to have drawn the shortest stick. Pulled out of his life randomly. Taken by a crazy old eccentric man not as a disciple, but as a body double?! And a janitor body double no less?! Grasping a system to find... It's a JANITOR SYSTEM!? Truly, how unlucky can one get?
Three days later, atop a small trail in a desolate mountain, Di Tou woke up with a groan. Looking around, he saw where they were and was stunned to realise he had been sleeping on the plain ground less than two feet away from a massive pit. Had he turned over once wrong in his sleep, he would have fallen in!
Taking deep breaths, Di Tou simultaneously recovered from the shock of the rude awakening, as well as the remnant senses of Qi desolation in his body.
Qi desolation sounded funny, but it was basically just a phrase to describe someone who had expended all of there Qi entirely, leaving them rather weak in the time to come. Like a river that had run dry, it certainly could still become a river someday, but in the meantime, it could only be considered a minor stream, and another large expenditure would damage the foundations of the river and cause the floor bed some damage.
