Most people don't choose reincarnation. Reincarnation finds their way to them. Perhaps they did something great in their life. Or maybe truck-sama wasn't looking where it was going. But without fail, those who reincarnate are destined for something great. A new life where everything changes for the better. But... Reincarnation isn't always the greatest thing. Sometimes you just draw the short end of the stick. Di Tou just happens to have drawn the shortest stick. Pulled out of his life randomly. Taken by a crazy old eccentric man not as a disciple, but as a body double?! And a janitor body double no less?! Grasping a system to find... It's a JANITOR SYSTEM!? Truly, how unlucky can one get?
As for what that ability was…
It wasn't quite as easy to quantify, but if Di Tou had to take a crack at it he would say that he always had a sense of who he was.
No… that was too vague.
Thinking back to his actions over the past day or so, Di Tou realized he had made a lot of choices that he might not have made otherwise. It wasn't that he was being more impulsive, but almost like he had lost some of his fear and reservations and instead did what he felt was right. To an extent, it was being rash, but to another extent, it was Di Tou trusting his own judgment. The judgment he made in the moment, instead of second-guessing himself and acting off of what ifs formed from him getting in his own head.
