The Ranking Tournament
The Tournament of the Azure Dragon Academy was a bracket tournament. Those in lower ranks had the right to challenge those in higher ranks. However, those in higher ranks cannot challenge those in lower ranks. When the challenger won, they could challenge another opponent. But if the challenger lost or had challenged other opponents over 3 times, that very student’s ranking would be counted as terminated.
This time, the Ranking Tournament began at the Mao Hour (5.00-7.00 O’clock). Most of the outer disciples were determined to raise their levels higher for a chance in receiving more resources. They had waited since slightly before the beginning of the Mao Hour.
However, over a shichen of the tournament had passed, there was not a single outer disciple who came close to overcome the inner disciples of the academy. Not to mention the main disciples, as no students of the Azure Dragon Academy dared to challenge them.
