A beast Xueming chose to use as his opponent was the Black Lizard, the beast of the primary level of Nature Qi that lived in the area of the sparse forest at the front of the Dragon Valley.
The Black Lizards were beasts known for their cruelty. They liked to hunt and build their own territory. Therefore, they were not the kind of beasts that lived in a herd like the Infernal Apes. This allowed Xueming to fully take on the beast without worrying that he would be surrounded by other Black Lizards.
