The New Awakening

"DO YOU WISH TO LIVE AGAIN?" I heard a deep, gravelly voice ask as i opened my eyes to the darkness i floated in.

'Where am I' I wondered to myself only to be answered in the form of the deep voice again. "YOU ARE IN THE EXPANSE OF THE NETHER" it replied to my thoughts, to which i sat stunned in surprise, as i had thought I was hearing things before.

I looked around for the owner of this loud and booming voice that seemed to come from nowhere and everywhere at once. "W-who are you?" I nervously responded. "THERE IS NO REAL RESPONSE TO THAT QUESTION CHILD, AS I AM ONE AND ALL OF EVERYTHING. YOU MAY CALL ME A GOD IF YOU WISH. NOW I WOULD LIKE A RESPONSE IF YOU DONT MIND, DO YOU WISH TO LIVE AGAIN?"

I looked into the realm of darkness around me and I slowly nodded my head.

"GOOD CHILD. THEN I WILL GIVE YOU A SECOND CHANCE FOR LIFE. SADLY I CANNOT RETURN YOU TO THE REALM YOU CALL 'EARTH'. I WILL GRANT YOU A LIFE IN A WORLD WITH MAGIC AND IT SHALL BE A WORLD OF WHICH YOU WILL HAVE TO LEARN TO SURVIVE, PLEASE DO NOT LET THIS BE IN VAIN AND LIVE YOUR LIFE TO THE BEST OF YOUR ABILITIES. I MUST SEND YOU ON YOUR WAY NOW, I WISH YOU FAREWELL."

In a flash of light my world began anew.

"Wahhh! Wahhhh!!!"

"Shh-shh-shh little one, everything is alright." i opened my eyes to a man that was holding me with kind eyes as i took my first breaths in this new world.

"Honey, our child is a nice, healthy, strong babe. im sure he will be a strong warrior or mage." my new father said as he looked at me with pride in his eyes.

"Now Now August, we dont even know if that will be the profession he will choose, lets wait and see what he will decide for this when he is older."

'sighhhhh...' "Ur of course right my dear, we should wait, After all it is a very important decision for him to decide on his own."
