“Please,” Tobin motioned towards his car.
“I wouldn’t want you to feel uncomfortable,” Aurelie said sharply.
Tobin looked around, “It’s too late for that, Aurelie. If you want me to leave, I will, but I’d like the chance to make the best apology I can.”
Aurelie noticed Anna pulling her group towards the barn, attempting to give Aurelie and Tobin some privacy. Anna looked back and nodded towards the car.
With a loud sigh, she walked over to the passenger side door, only to have Tobin hop over the hood and open the door for her.
“Thank you,” she said faintly.
“I should say thank you,” Tobin breathed, his eyes resting sincerely on hers.
Tobin got in and started the car up, pulling carefully onto the main road.
“I don’t know where I’m going, I’m just going to drive,” Tobin admitted.
Aurelie couldn’t help but laugh and looked over at the musician. “You asked me to go for a drive, but you don’t know where you are going.”
