Alexander understood that Denia was very scared. But he also didn't want to be in the Wall area much longer. The conditions within this city wall environment were extremely unsafe for them, at least this was what Alexander had thought from his experience.
The man shifted one chair and sat opposite Denia. He stroked the girl's cheek with a smile, trying to reassure her once again that they would get through this.
Again he reached for his food, then said, "I don't want to see you having something bad, Denia. Really, I can't…"
"Oh, Alex," Denia rubbed the man's shoulder gently.
"I know," said Alexander, "I sound ridiculous, we've only known each other for a few days. However, my feelings for you are not something ridiculous. I," he glanced into the girl's eyes. "I love you so much Denia. And, and the conditions within this Wall environment are not things I want to spend with you. We're not safe here, Denia."
