The Incident

A man in shabby clothes seemed to be hiding behind an empty chest in the alley. His suspicious presence in the alley, as well as the shape of his clothes which in Alexander's eyes symbolized the clothes of a street thug, made Alexander wary.

"What are you doing in this alley?!"

The man looked dazed as if what Alexander was thinking was the truth.

Meanwhile, Yu had a little trouble seeing what was in front of him because he was blocked by Alexander's back.

"What is it?" Yu asked.

"Don't tell me you're part of that street thug over there?!" said Alexander with his gaze so sharp at the man in front of him.

The man stood, in his hand, he held a dagger, and this further strengthened Alexander's conjecture.

When the man stood up, Yu could see who Alexander was yelling at. And he thought he knew that face before.

"H—Hey!" Yu shouted while pointing at the man's face over Alexander's left shoulder. "He's a street thug! He almost killed me before!"

And the man also seemed to have seen Yu, he became increasingly nervous, the dagger in his hand he pointed at Alexander.

Not wanting to let the thugs intimidate them, Alexander quickly threw the drink bottle in his hand.

Crash!

The thug still had time to protect his face with both hands so that the drink bottle smashed into his hand. Without thinking, the thug immediately ran away from Alexander and Yu because he didn't want to be caught by the people on the main street, as happened with his colleagues who were still in the crowd.

"Hey, you…!" shouted Alexander. "Come on, Yu, we go after him!"

For a moment Yu looked doubtful, his thoughts brought him back to the incident where he was almost caught by five street thugs who knew where he was hiding, ten years ago.

But it was only for an instant, burned by his revenge at that time, Yu then ran after Alexander who had chased the thug first.

"Hey, Alex…!" shouted Yu who was having a hard time running down the narrow alley. "Wait for me! He's dangerous!"

Well, of course, Yu didn't expect Alexander to have such a bad time since the thug was carrying a dagger. Who could have guessed if the thug wasn't hiding another weapon, like a gun, maybe?

Meanwhile, the sound of shouts and insults was heard from the main road, shouts from pedestrians who joined in beating the gang of street thugs. Not long after, the sound of sirens from the police car could be heard getting closer.

Three police cars came to the scene of the riot, and police personnel immediately got out of their cars, among them were three or four police robots.

Not waiting too long, about six street thugs who were causing a riot were put into a police car with their hands handcuffed and their faces battered by the mob.

"This is not your place!" someone shouted.

"You trash!"

"You are not welcome here, you savages!"

Various harsh words echoed as the six street thugs were loaded into the car by the police personnel and the police robots.

Meanwhile, Alexander continues to chase the thugs who managed to escape from the previous mob. Like parkour athletes, they jump from one low wall to a higher wall, then move down the aisle in a different direction.

Yu was forced to go along with it even though he had to do it very slowly because he wasn't used to such things. Well, maybe once or twice he did that, but that was a long time ago when he was still living on the streets as a tramp.

"Stop right there, you bastard!" shouted Alexander.

The thug again jumped on one fence, climbed up the fence quickly, then jumped down, he rolled down the alley, got up again quickly, and ran again.

At one point, Alexander jumped up a low wall, and just as the thug was about to turn into the alley on the right, he jumped again. Like a tiger that jumps and pounces on its prey, Alexander managed to grab the thug's waist until both of them rolled down the narrow alley. The dagger the thug was holding slipped out of his grip as he rolled around.

Alexander gets up quickly, then beats the thug, and both get into a fight.

"Yu…!" shouted Alexander. "Call the people, hurry…!"

At that time, Yu was having trouble climbing a fence. He succeeded, but unfortunately, his footing was unstable until he fell and rolled on the floor of the alley.

"What the fuck are you doing, huh?!" Alexander shouted at Yu, he managed to catch the thug by sitting on his back and holding the thug's hands behind.

And when Alexander turned back to see Yu who had rolled on the floor, the thug managed to turn his body so that Alexander rolled to the side and his head hit the wall.

The thug hastily grabbed his dagger back, and just as Alexander was trying to stand up, the thug stabbed his dagger at Alexander.

Stab!

Alexander let out a short moan, the dagger stabbed his stomach on the left side.

"Alex…!" Yu got up quickly, he grabbed a wooden box, then threw the box at the thug. "You bastard…!"

The thug was about to run but his hand which was holding the dagger was restrained by Alexander.

Crash!

The wooden box hit the thug's shoulder and shattered into pieces.

Even though Alexander was in pain, he didn't let the thugs get away by insisting on holding the thug's hand.

Yu came fast, approaching them.

Thud!

While jumping and lunging at the thug, Yu threw his fist, and it hit the thug's face, breaking his nose and spurting blood.

"Call, call the people!" said Alexander who was still holding hands on the goons. "Hurry up, you moron!"

One hand gripped the thug's hand which was still gripping the hilt of his dagger, and Alexander used the other to slit the thug's neck. The thug himself gasped because of the blood covering his respiratory tract, coupled with Alexander's gripping hands which made it even more difficult for him to breathe.

Yu immediately ran towards the alley on the left, the direction that led to the main road, then he screamed for help.

The police and robot officers who were still near the crowd responded immediately, a police officer and a robot immediately followed Yu's steps while other police officers detained the crowd who wanted to join or those who still wanted to beat up the thugs who had been caught.

With the capture of the seventh member of the gang of thugs, the crowd slowly dispersed. Meanwhile, Alexander was taken by the police team using an ambulance accompanied by Yu.
