"Hey, how about I just fly?" said Yu a few moments later. "I mean, to find other things on this planet faster. Is the driving force in this outfit sufficient?"
"Well, you can do that. But, you have to conserve your outfit power."
Alina said that because in reality later, Yu would indeed wear the astronaut outfit as he imagined it. And of course, all the resources in the outfit will be limited.
Yu smiled and then activated the jet pad function on his outfit via the device on his left wrist.
And then he flew slowly, a few feet above the ground. While shining a light on certain corners, he watched if there was a life form he would encounter.
"Then?" asked Alina.
"What?"
"About that big room, you found?"
"Aah, well…" Yu watched the conditions on the surface below him. "I'm stuck there."
"Stuck?" repeated Alina. "I think, you just exaggerate. You did find things in there that can sustain your life, didn't you?"
"Yeah, but not much."
"Explain to me!"
"Well, I found some food in the box that is still fit for consumption, though, the taste of the food is a bit strange on my tongue."
Alina laughed softly at the man's honest confession. "Maybe the food has expired?"
"No, I don't think so. Maybe it was just my tongue that wasn't used to fancy food at that time—well until now I'm still like that."
"Aah, you really are weird!" Alina giggled again.
"Yeah, that's me."
"You said you were stuck there, didn't you?"
"That's how it actually happened."
"Then, how do you get out of that room under the desert?"
"For a week, I tried to find a way out. You know, I have to dismantle the end of the corridor covered in crumbling walls."
"You managed to do it?"
"Yeah, after almost a week, remember?"
"Ah, that's how it is?" Alina nodded. "Is there no other room apart from the one you found?"
"Of course," said Yu. "Where else did I get that strange food?"
"Aah, I thought it was still in that octagonal room?"
"No. In that luxurious room, there is only one kersen tree growing—"
"You mean the cherry tree?"
"No, not that one. The Muntingia tree."
Alina frowned, she didn't know there were other fruits with the same name as the kersen she was referring to.
"It's a kind of tropical small fruit like berries," said Yu. "But nevermind. Basically, before getting the food in the box, the Muntingia fruit was what I ate. I think I was lucky enough, the fruit was sweet. At least, it can be a source of the glucose I need."
"Hmm…"
Alina stood up, then stepped slowly around the special chair, her hands under her dense breasts. She keeps all the devices that support the simulation in good condition.
"What is it?" Yu asked.
"Nothing," said Alina. "I just thought, maybe the sand and soil that entered through the dome-shaped roof hole brought the seeds so the tree grew there."
"Yeah, it's definitely like that."
"And then?"
Yu smiled, he glanced at the device on his left wrist. Looks like I'm heading north, he thought. The planet's magnetic field is not as strong as that on Earth.
Eight-year-old Yu grimaced as one of his fingernails chipped when he was forced to pull a large piece of debris off the wall. He licked his injured finger to stop the blood from flowing out.
There was still a lot of debris for the boy to remove before he could find another room, and if he was lucky, a way out of the underground room.
Indeed, the room was very comfortable to live in. Little Yu felt freed from the prying eyes of the savage street thugs. Also, Yu can take shelter from the sun's rays, which are always very hot.
And what pleased the eight-year-old the most was the existence of a clear pool in the middle of the octagonal room itself. Yu felt very happy swimming during the day, relaxing alone, completely naked without fear of thugs catching him and sodomizing him.
In short, the room had provided everything for the boy. Refuge, a place to sleep, a place to bathe. The only two things the place lacks are food and drink. Yu felt bored if he had to eat the Muntingia fruit every time. He had also run out of drinking water.
"So you drank alcohol from the glass cupboard?" Alina's eyes widen on the figure of a man lying on a special chair. "Oh my, Yu!"
"Hey, hey!" Yu chuckled. "Do I look like someone who likes liquor to you?"
"Well, who can tell?"
"Fair enough," said Yu. "But not at all. Well, except for the first time I tried it."
"It's the same thing!"
Yu laughed. "No is not. Trust me, it's not the same thing."
Little Yu who was annoyed because his nails hurt finally ended what he was doing before, he thought to continue the work tomorrow. With his face still grimacing, he stepped to the other end of the corridor. Maybe soaking in the clear pool will reduce the stinging feeling in his finger. Besides, he felt very thirsty.
The three human skeletons that had previously been lying near the door to the octagonal room were no longer there. Yu had buried the skeletons close to the Muntingia tree a few days ago.
"Wait a minute!" said Alina stopping the story that was told by Yu.
"What is it?"
"You buried the skeletons?" Isn't this something beautiful? thought the young doctor.
"Yeah, I did," said Yu. "Isn't that what it should be? I mean, I'm not a pious person. But, at least, that's what I can do for them."
"Oh, Yu," Alina looked into the man's face even though she knew he wouldn't notice. The doctor smiled. There were times when she felt like stroking the man's cheek. "That is so sweet of you."
"Is that true?" Yu smiled widely.
"Of course. Doing good to someone even if it's only in their skeletons, isn't this already very rare in our current life?"
Yu took a deep breath. "Well, I guess you're right. However, I didn't think that far."
Alina laughed softly with a very melodious. Thus, she thought, Yu had shown that he was a very good person, and had great respect for others even though that person had long since died.
"Then?" the beautiful doctor asked again about Yu's childhood.
Little Yu, feeling thirsty, grabbed a bottle of alcoholic drink that was in the glass cupboard. He found it impossible to drink water from the pool because he had used it many times for bathing and swimming.
He grabbed a bottle and led it to a long carved table. Little Yu just sat at the table. Before opening the bottle he had taken, he used the liquid in another bottle which was only half full on the table itself.
The boy screamed in pain as he cleaned the blood from the wound on his fingertip with the liquid in the bottle. So pissed off, Yu even threw the bottle far away. The bottle hit the wall hard and shattered.
