Chapter 3:gaining power

It had been 2 months since I had escaped kjartans fortress by then I got to know tura and she realised she was a hostage and I was using her to gain influence with Ragnar but shr knew I didn't want to hump her so our relationship built.

She tried to escape a few times and I did warn her that I would kill her and I would kill her anyways if ragnar didn't give me what I want.

Ragnar was the weakest link out of the Dane's the most merciful probably out of them I mean he wa loyal to uhtred who was Alfred's bitch am I right?I mean don't get me wrong he was an amazing warrior but he literally was Alfred's bitch.

anyways Ragnar will have to give me 300 pieces of gold for tura and if not I will kill her right infront of him maybe even torcher her.

I also went from villiage to villiage recruiting other Dane's with the gold coins that I had.

I recruited men that did not want land where not foolish but wanted to make coin.

I was not going to be suitable if I had power if I had an army I wouldn't just charge into battle.

Kind of like suggtryggr he was clever out of all of the Dane's and was unlike the others I loved him and stiorras relationship in the series and it pissed me of the way Edward just ordered him dead like that.

The way they all dismissed uhtred after all he had done for them made me want to drop the show and the movie?that was even worse!anyways now we wait for Ragnar to come back from Ireland on his ships.

I have 13 men with me that I have collected so far I'm sure kjartan won't mind the rich bastard but I am sure that Sven will miss his whore.to bad.the guy disgust me I would conquer and kill people but humping and forcing yourself on a women?that is disgusting.

Anways I found ragnars ships on the way back to Ireland and similarly followed his path to lord Guthrums fortress.

On the way there I heard of another camp of Earl ubba.

I decided to go south west toward earl ubbas camp and steal some gold from the earl ubbas camp I mean after uhtred kills him and his men will die and there plunder?i will take it.

While going to ubbas camp my numbers increased to 15 men and we raided a few villages for plunder most of the silver was taken but some was still left.

In time I came to be known as rogat the righteous.

'I don't know who came up with that title but hey?rather be the righteous then be evil right?'

we then made our way to Earl ubbas camp when we heard of the news of Earl ubbas death and that he was killed by uhtred.

all the soldiers under Earl ubba was killed but this shifted the tone throughout Wessex.

Some who had heard of this had seeked to avenge Earl ubba but I also heard of more Dane's go north after Earl ubbas death.

'They,must be going to kjartan.'

I also had tura with me and it was time to go the fortress where Ragnar is and bargain his sisters life for gold.

My men where unsure of me doing this because if Ragnar sees me as a threat he would have me killed easily he also has Earl Guthrem aswell but if he doesn't comply with my demands I will kill his sister damn the consequences.

Tura had a wrap around her mouth so the bitch couldn't talk because she thought she had some free will?just cuz I won't hump her doesn't mean I'm a good person.

We were camping in the night when sounds where heard I got out my sword and so did 3 of my other men.my other men woke up and got out there swords.

men came out of the forest that number just over 20.

'Sword danes!scorpa?No he should be in Cornwallum maybe even wales but not here.'

"We mean you no harm we are going north to answer the call of the new northern lords!"

"Northern lords?"

"Yes the brothers Siegfried and Eric there numbers are small but they have landed with 3 ships my cousin serves then and he offered me good coin so I will go and serve these northern lord."

"Ok,well you are not welcome here and we do not have enough food to share.'

When I said that one of my men that went to take a piss got behind one of the sword Dane's and slit his throat 2 of my other men then killed 2 of Theres.

before there leader had any time to react I dashed at him kneed him in the balls and slashed his body and he fell to the ground.

We then slaughtered the other soldiers when one of them held a knife to turas throat.But before he could kill her one of my men grabbed him and threw him on the tree.

I then stabbed him with my sword and killed him.

we all then moved towards the fortress and camped somewhere else.

we arrived near the fortress where the Dane's resided when I saw an army of Saxons and Alfred the bitch who was leading them.

I also saw uhtred ragnarsson who was going into the fortress and they where opening the doors.

Alfred also was on his horse at the front of his army thinking he was mr aura himself when I rushed to the fortress with my horse the archers where about to hit me with an arrow when I said I had Ragnars sister.

I went in the fortress and got of my horse.Ragnar and uhtred then hugged each other when I greeted them generously.

"I have your sister and if you don't give me 400 pounds of gold I will slit her throat torture her or hump her while you watch choose is yours!"

Oh yeah I raised the price -_-
