"Yet here I float, the 'craziest human to live on Earth' being the last human to exist. It's pretty ironic." The Wudang Sect

When my eyes opened, I was met with the relaxing deep green tree leaves and the light blue sky.

However, when I sat up off the ground, I realized I was no longer at the training grounds where I had passed out.

As I looked around me, I heard fighting behind me in the distance. I doubt it had been long since I had passed out, so the fighting might have been Pyo Kang and Pyo Yong sparring.

As I stood up off the ground and began walking toward the sounds of fighting, a blood curdling scream erupted into the air.

"ACCKKK!"

The voice, though far away, clearly belonged to Pyo Yong. If he was screaming in pain then it wasn't a spar that was occurring, it was a battle.

I bolted across the forest floor to where the battle was taking place. During the five months we spent training, I grew quite fond of Pyo Kang and Pyo Yong, and if either of them died I would bring hell down upon the culprit.

When I arrived at the battle ground my eyes widened with shock, Pyo Yong was kneeling on the ground with his severed left arm laying in front of him, still gushing out blood into the grass.

In front of Pyo Yong, Pyo Kang and an old man were fighting blow for blow with their sword techniques. Pyo Kang seemed to be on the defensive however, as every fifth strike or so he would be cut by the old man's sword.

Pyo Kang leapt back to where Pyo Yong was kneeling and pointed his sword at the old man before speaking, "That two-faced fucker! We stuck to our part of the agreement and stayed out of the northern part of the forest!"

"That was the previous agreement, the man who told me about you three said the new agreement is the death of all three of you." The old man replied coldly, taking a few steps forward as he readied another sword technique.

This scene eerily reminded me of that Namgung clan bastard who killed Jinlong. I knew that this old man wasn't from the Namgung clan as he didn't look like that Namgung bastard, but the mere thought of a similar situation happening again lit a raging fire in my heart.

I dashed toward the old man with my Golden Dragon Claw technique at the ready. I didn't have my sword on me, so this was the best technique I could use currently.

As I extended my fist toward the old man to hit him, he quickly maneuvered his sword and blocked my fist with the blade.

"So, the third guest of the forest finally decided to come out? Have you come to try and lure me into your demonic ways?"

The old man was definitely a master martial artist, a normal warrior wouldn't be able to maneuver their sword like that to block a simple punch, let alone sense that I was coming to hit him.

Though I wasn't sure where he got the idea that I was a demonic being or practitioner. He must have been fooled by a rumor somewhere.

"An old man comes out of hiding to kick three people out of a forest, how pathetic of you."

I wouldn't get this chance to be so close to the old man again, so I quickly shifted into the Golden Dragon Claw's second form and unleashed a barrage of punches at the man from above him.

However, the man simply dodged all my punches before jumping back to keep the distance between us.

"Hoho, you're quite strong in martial arts despite not having any internal energy. If you were to grow any further, it would be bad for all of Jianghu."

The old man then dashed at me with a readied sword technique, unveiling a complicated form of over thirty sword strikes and slashes.

Yet as I dodged the strikes and slashes the old man was unveiling, I couldn't get rid of the familiarity I was feeling from the old man's technique.

The old man then paused when he noticed that technique wasn't going to work on me, and quickly readied a new technique to use on me. But just as he launched his second attack, I muttered a single word.

"... Wudang?"

The old man halted his second attack, if he was even a second late in stopping, my left eye would have been pierced by the sword.

"You... How did you know I was from the Wudang Sect just by seeing one martial art formation?"

So, I hit the nail right on the head huh? This old man is from the Wudang Sect, but they normally don't let their disciples or even elders for that matter out of Mount Wudang. Unless it's for Taoist practices like rituals, or if it's for Jianghu affairs like helping other Taoist sects from collapsing.

So, this old man is here because he thought I was a demon who had been growing in strength here. He was sorely mistaken, but who would deceive a Wudang Sect disciple just to have us kicked out of the for-

Oh, that middle-aged man, he's made quite the blunder this time.

"Sir, before I answer that question, could you inform me of your position within the Wudang Sect? It would be easier to explain that way."

The old man paused, clearly debating as to whether he should answer my question or not.

A moment later he would respond.

I'm the fifth elder of the Wudang Sect. Now, answer my question."

The fifth elder? This was good news, the fifth elder I knew was an extremely passionate man about justice. That, and the elders and leader of the Wudang Sect knew about the Mount Song Sect's existence in my original life.

"You are an elder? I'm sorry for showing such disrespect to you." I replied, bowing deeply to the old man before continuing, "You see, I am a disciple of the Mount Song Sect, and I merely wanted to use this forest for a few years to train myself in a climate that would suit my body better."

The fifth elder's eyes relaxed when I mentioned the Mount Song Sect, at least that part of the world didn't change because of my transmigration.

The old man sheathed his sword and took a few steps away from me before speaking.

"If you are from the Mount Song Sect as you say, show me the Golden Dragon Slash technique with that young man's sword. If you do that, I will leave the three of you alone for the rest of your time here."

He didn't believe me outright, so that means the Mount Song Sect is more actively known in this era, this was good information to know.

I walked over to Pyo Yong's severed arm and grabbed his sword off the ground, wasting no time and unleashing the Golden Dragon Slash technique in front of the fifth elder.
