1.64: Day of Acquaintance!

Every student given the first week off decided to use this as a chance to interact with their peers. Therefore, they took these days to explore the school and, maybe by any chance, recruited to one of the top 10 guilds.

"Man, this is gonna go fast; I can feel it," Suna said.

"Didn't they say we would have an entrance exam or something? This would be the best time to relieve their burden," Toru asked.

"Well, they are the staff; nothing we can do about it…but honestly, that is not what bothers me," Kaen said.

"…What seems to be the matter, Kaen?" Eon asked.

"It's the captain, and I do not like him one bit."

"Who, Gale? Yeah, I agree with ya one hundred percent." Toru agreed.

"Well, there is nothing we can do about it. I lost the captaincy to him that day…so I'm the only one to blame for that-"

"NO EON! You saw that day, WE all did. He's a Fushigiri, no doubt about it!" Kaen exclaimed.

"…" Eon's face was blank, still considering what to say to him. "Kaen…I still lost to him, and talking behind his back will not benefit us at all. So right now-"

"We should focus on our team chemistry."

Gale caught them off guard from behind. "I want to make it clear that although some of you may not have chosen me to be your captain, I am confident in my ability to lead, and I am determined to benefit every one of you."

He made them line up and stared right at them. "Let's get to the point. Firstly, you two, Toru and Suna."

They stopped daydreaming and looked at Gale. "You have amazing prowess, but you lack the ability to use it. Have you ever considered attacking instead of using it as a defense?"

Toru and Suna took a moment to think and realized he was not lying.

"You're right. I have always used my Glass Prowess for self-defense…but how would I attack with it?"

"I will help you. Secondly, Tedd and Kaen."

Kaen tried not to frown at him while Tedd was smirking. "You two are the main source of offense, but you guys never fight according to your archetype."

They looked at him confusedly. "Tedd, your prowess is far more lethal if you strike rather than blast at them. For now, we need to change your style from Ranger to a full-fledged Striker."

"Oh, I…did not know that."

"That's exactly my point. The opposite goes for you, Kaen. You would be more diverse if you attacked from above. Knowing your attack spreads around the air, the process can become more effective while airborne."

Kaen did not want Gale to know he agreed, so he shook his head and looked away.

"And thirdly, Eon." Gale gazed deep into his eyes and pulled him aside.

"What is the matter?" Eon asks with annoyance.

"Come with me; we're going on a mission."

The rest of the team was shocked by his sudden request.

"Wait, so just you and Eon will go? What about us?" Toru asked.

"Don't worry; it's not heavy lifting that requires everyone. When that time comes, I'll let you guys know."

In addition, with that, Gale and Eon left the school premises.

"WHY THE HELL ARE YOU BREATHING?!" Uraka asked Josuke and the rest of his guild as they were all doing push-ups. "If we can't show Part-Timer that we can do 800 push-ups, THEN ALL OF YOU WILL TRY AND CATCH MY HOME RUNS!!"

Yes…Sir…

They all struggled to respond to him, but some students thought this was fun, so they decided to join in.

"MR. URAKA, I ALSO WANT TO DO SOME PUSH-UPS!"

"I WILL JOIN TOO!"

"COUNT ME IN!"

So, during half of the break, Uraka and several male students did push-ups.

YEEEAAAAAHHHHHH!!!!!!!

They were all fired up by him and kept on pushing. Part-Timer walked by and noticed what they were up to.

"…Uraka." He stood in front of the Red Ranger.

"WHAT IS IT, PART-TIMER?!"

"I have seen many people attempt push-ups from my demand. Some don't even try, while others do it for fun. It has been…a while since I've seen someone motivate others to do this. I can shed a tear to this. (Sob)"

All that Part-Timer produced was saliva after he gave Uraka a wicked smile. "But you can't start crying before 3 AM, so you better keep pushing! JAJAJAJAJAJAJAJA!!!"

Uraka was not fazed and began to build spiritas.

 "I AM NOT DOING THIS FOR YOU! I'M DOING SO TO SHOW YOU THAT I HAVE MORE MOTIVATIONAL SPARK THAN YOU!"

Part-Timer got serious. "But there is nobody but your guild behind you…"

"HUH?!"

Uraka turned around and saw Josuke and the other 11 boys on his team.

"WAIT A DAMN MINUTE! WHERE ARE ALL THE-"

He turned back to see all the other boys stand and dress like Part-Timer.

"Ura buddy, you have to understand. I HAVE THE BIGGEST GUILD IN THIS ENTIRE SCHOOL WITH 99 MEMBERS! If you think doing what I do will make me a bad person…YOU WILL ONLY BRING ME MORE MEMBERS!"
