THIRD PERSON

''Can you heal him?''

''Mammon, you know that demons don't have the power to heal.''

''I know,'' Mammon shrugged. ''But...what if we can.''

''What do you mean, Mammon?"

Mammon scratched his head in contemplation. ''I mean...but you are never going to like it.''

Levi straightened up and gave him a nod to go ahead and speak his mind.

''We can't heal him because for some reason demons are not blessed with the art of healing...but a witch can.''

Levi paled at where Mammon was heading. The point he is trying to make is clear. ''Are you crazy?!''

''I know, I know, I know. It's not the best idea yet-''

''It would never be one! Haven't you had enough of witches? One of them tried to poi...maybe all of them. And we are suspecting they are behind this attempted murder. What are you thinking? They would be happy enough to heal a hybrid?''

''What other choice do we have?'' Mammon cried out, ''We can't just sit back with our hands on our laps and hope for his miraculous healing. Levi, we have to do something.''

''Why witches? Why does it have to be witches? I can't stand them either could I trust them to heal a living thing? They would kill it in the process.''

Mammon rolled his eyes. ''Sometimes, we have to let go of our pride, anger, and resentment if we ever want to achieve anything.''

Levi shook his head in disagreement.

''I know a witch that we can trust. She doesn't even know that I am a demon. We can go to her and ask for her help.''

''What. No. Do you even hear yourself? She won't help us without her demanding a sinful reward.'' Levi emphasized.

''Sin? Come on Levi, we are already sinners. As long as we continue to roam on this earth as fallen angels we have no redemption. We are already condemned. Don't act like a hypocrite.''

Levi hissed. He hates it whenever their past is brought up.

''We can either ask for help or compel her to. It's our only choice in saving Michael's life. We have to do something.''

Levi sighed in submission as Mammon held onto his hand and pleaded.

''Nothing is as sinful as asking for help from a witch.''

''I know.''

NOWEL

There's one thing I hate most in my life and that is being helpless. You are in a dark room and you know there is a door to escape but you don't know how to search for it in the darkness.

I hate it.

The small fire I managed to set up would die soon. I have no idea how I am going to survive a day without being comfortable. I hate all of this. How am I even supposed to prove my innocence in this condition; no food, no water, and my sick horse died hours ago in the snow?

I sighed. It's hopeless. My only hope in getting out of this mess is finding Caroline. She is the only person I can still talk to testify to the truth. I never planned to murder my husband. I just hope that she is found quickly and my message is delivered to her on time. My lingering in the woods is making me vulnerable to many horrible creatures that stalk the woods at night.

Please eye God. Please let them find Caroline so that I can get back to my Gorgeous and protect him. He needs me there by his side.

Thank you so much Royal Court for being a complete jerk to me! I truly appreciate it if I froze to death.

I just hope that Michael is already showing signs of recovery. If not, I don't think I have any other reason to exist anymore.

THIRD PERSON

''Are you sure, Mammon that it is going to work? That she would be willing to help us?''

''Don't worry. We would be fine. Come in.''

Levi and Mammon entered the wooden house beside a small pond and in the middle of the forest. In the house were only three wooden chairs and magical potions and cursed objects are found everywhere.

''Is anybody home?'' Mammon called out as Levi dusted off the cobwebs that fell on him.

''Who are you, people?''

Levi and Mammon turned around to meet a young woman with red hair and blue eyes and a serpent tied around her neck. Levi was surprised.

''It's me, Elijah.'' Mammon lied. The witch frowned.

''Elijah who?''

''It appears that you know her but she doesn't know you,'' Levi whispered to Mammon as the witch removed the snake around her neck and placed it delicately inside a cage.

''Of course, she does. She just has a bad memory.'' Mammon stepped closer to the young witch.

''We met at...an abandoned well and had a great time together in exchange for a favor.''

Levi paled at Mammon having a great time together with a witch. ''What?'' Levi asked in horror and Mammon eyed him to keep quiet.

The young witch eyed Mammon curiously as she looked at him from head to toe. ''Yes, I remember. You are that Elijah that murdered my previous snake.''

''And I begged you to forgive me and you did. And I can see that you have gotten yourself a...new...one.''

''What do you want?''

''I want to ask you for a favor that you owe me.''

''And what is it?''

The witch moved around to sit on one of the wooden chairs.

''A good friend of ours is sick and needs something that can heal him. He was attacked by some group of bandits on his way to another village and he is dying.''

The witch sighed as she got up and grabbed a bottle of liquid from a table and gave it to Mammon. ''Feed that friend of yours this potion and he will be alright in the next twenty to twenty-four hours.'' She sat back on her chair.

''Thank you, Rebekah.''

''Whatever.'' She waved them off.

As they were about to leave, Rebekah stopped them. ''What is your name?''

Mammon turned around to face Rebekah with a confusing look, ''You already know that I am Eli-''

''Not you. Him. For some reason, he has been glaring hard at my serpent and he is making Apollo quite anxious.''

Levi turned around to lock eyes with Rebekah. Apollo hissed at him.

''I am Levi. As in Leviathan.'' He smiled.
