CHAPTER TWENTY TWO

Alice blinked her eyes rapidly. Vladimir was doing some sort of incantation. They went towards some sort of lake. He’d been there for hours. Darkness was already fast approaching. The air was thick with something and it made her eyes water. The lake or whatever it was had this greenish color and if she wasn’t about to do something crazy she might have thought it okay to swim in it.

Vladimir approached her smiling." It’s ready" he said. He Led Alice to the river bank. Alice stared at the water wondering how the hell she would agree to do something crazy like this. Going to hell sounded absurd, but what could she say. Ever since she was in this town everything had just been crazy.
