Chapter 84: Open and Generous

Returning home, there was still plenty of time.

Li Zhongnan took a look in the fridge and saw plenty of vegetables. He then started preparing dinner.

Just as he was finishing up, Chen Xiaoting came back.

The young girl stepped inside, smelling the aroma, and exclaimed excitedly, "Boss, you cooked!"

Li Zhongnan continued cooking and replied with a grin, "Yes, I was tired of eating out. I've cooked dinner myself today, you're in for a treat, little girl!"

Chen Xiaoting chuckled, then removed her shoes and her business attire, and sprawled out on the sofa.

Clasping a large pillow, she dozed off almost immediately. Li Zhongnan finished cooking, walked over, sat down, and tenderly picked her up, looking at her tired little face.

Chen Xiaoting opened her eyes, smiled at him, and sweetly called out, "Boss."

Li Zhongnan nodded and asked, "How's work? Tiring, right?"

"Not at all! It's really good!"
