The Kid

A story inspired by The Wallaby Kid by VERTiiGO. This is a western wild west story. This is for funny and anti-stress. This story isn't planned. Again it's for fun.

New in town

In a wooden carriage on a dirt road, sat a young man. His feet lay on the opposing seat as a brown hat bury his face. He wore blue jeans, a blue shirt, and a brown leather vest. And on his side holstered a gun, a Single Action Army.

The man sat motionlessly as the carriage came to a stop, forwarding his body slightly.

A thud sounded and that sound of grinding sand emerge. The door of the carriage opens, revealing a wide man with a mustache. He eyed the passenger before his face turn angry.

His big, rough hands lung at the man, grabbing ahold as he swung him out of the cart.

"Here's your stop, Jackass." He yelled out before quickly walking to the driver's seat as the man woke up.

"What the hell is your problem?" He asks as he picks himself up as he grabs his fallen hat.

The driver says nothing as he rides off. The man pats himself off before glaring at the cart. Angrily putting on his hat he storms towards it.

"Hey! I won that bet fair and square."

"Fair and square my ass," The driver said snarling. "I know you cheat."

"Well, you can't prove that buddy."

"I know it, and fuck you." He finishes off, smacking the leads down, promoting the horse to move faster.

"Well, the feeling is mutual." The man muttered as he walks off. Walking to a side of a building, he takes out his hat. Brushing off the sand from it.

"Are you ok, Mister?" A voice came from behind.

Turning around he sees a lady. Blonde hair, green sparkling eyes, and a welcoming smile. She wore a red dress with a black dress and was carrying a basket.

"Yes." The man say stunned. "I mean, yes!"

The lady giggled. "You staying in town?"

"If you're here, I wouldn't mind it."

"Stop it." She says flattered. She moves past him, walking down the road.

"Hey, um. You got a name."

"Jane."

"Jane, beautiful name. Name's David."

"David. Well, see you around David."

"Wait. You know where the saloon is."

"Of course." She sigh before pointing to the left. "Down the street that way."

"Thank you," James replied as Jane waves him off as she walks away.

David follows her direction, ending up at "Joe's Saloon". He walks up to the doors and pushes them open.

The saloon was empty except for a group of three and the bartender. The saloon had many tables, a stairwell to the second floor, and a bar filled with drinks.

He walks to the counter and was met with a ginger bartender.

"Hey, what can I get 'cha?"
