Chapter 37

The room went silent for a long time before Wang Chen's father suddenly broke the silence. "You mean to tell me…. That my old friend… is dead?" he uttered with a low tone. Zhang Xiu closed her eyes and bowed her head. She was struggling to keep the memories and pictures of her Grandpa's death and battle with the Dragonoids out of her head.

 The look of shock and fear could be seen on Wang Chen's father's face. He was shocked beyond normal, and Zhang Xiu could see his hand shake a bit. His eyes were widened, and he used his hand to cover his agape mouth. His wife pursed her lips and closed her eyes. She held her hands close to her chest, and her face went extremely solemn.

"No way… No way… No way…" he kept muttering. His wife sat closer to him and tried to calm him down.

"Calm down, darling. What's happened has happened. Take it easy." She convinced, but Wang Chen's father wasn't having any of that.

 "No way. How is that possible?!" He yelled.
