Since he was born, Di Huo was born the golden boy in the Di Long Tribe. He enjoyed high position and great wealth since a lot of people in the tribe treated him with respect that only masters deserved. Di Huo himself had grown accustomed to this kind of life, therefore, he had come to the Zhao Family to become stronger which consequently would grant him with higher status and more wealth.
Also, fear of death was in his nature. He was not willing to give up his spoiled life, or the beauties in the Wu Ling County, or his promising future.
When Lu Li was about to kill him in the Di Long Tribe, Di Huo fled. At this moment, he was all the more freaked out. Lu Li had proven to be able to kill warriors at the peak of the Xuan Wu Realm like chopping up vegetables. Even though Di Huo was bit stronger than the two warriors that were killed, he knew deep down that he was far from a worthy opponent for Lu Li.
