Sorting the Loot

Meng Tian was never one to hide things from his parents. He was quite open with them, except of course for his transmigration, system and other things that were not too normal.

However, he did not hide his interest in this senior girl in his school. He was very happy for his son to be interested in such a fine girl, he was more than ready to force him to get married later on... as he knew how his son had always been uninterested in anything around him.

That should be more than enough to help you tie the knot. You will soon experience many things that are out of normalcy in every sense. Rest assured, we will be here rooting and supporting for you as always."

Hua Baihe looked a bit surprised by her husband's words. She obviously knew her husband well enough to see the seriousness in his statement. Although she was not much acquainted with the martial arts world around them, she had seen many things over the years. Nonetheless, she was elated to hear his words of support filled with conviction.

Meng Tian was already at a very high level of cultivation in this world, and his spiritual sense was completely unique and much more powerful. He had always kept it active ever since he got the spiritual sense discretization skill and masked it with the maxed out transmogrification skill. This was for the safety of himself and his family.

So, the slight change in his father's face at the mention of the blue-eyed Yu Xunuo, did not escape him. However, he had no change in his expression at all, he would find things out eventually. Meng Tian sat down on his bed in a meditative position and closed his eyes. His Soul body had been busy organizing all the things that he had obtained from destroying the local base of the Green Devil Cult- the items from the vault and the storage rings.

And now he was ready for some surprises.

There were thousands of colorless crystal like objects lying around on one side of the consciousness space. Meng Tian was unsure about what those crystals were. All the storage rings that he had collected tonight and even the base's vault had these crystals, but in different quantities.

They looked like crystal cubes cut precisely to a size smaller than his fist. He used his spiritual sense to probe the crystal, only to find dense colorless qi floating inside it. It was quite mellow and did not show any sign of attacking him.

So, his soul body went ahead to touch a crystal cube. But just as it came into contact with a cube, the qi inside vigorously flew out of the cube and entered his Soul body. Meng Tian was afraid that he would experience the atomization and soul burn process like in the afternoon. However, to his surprise, there was only a small window showing the result.

Meng Tian was ecstatic by the discovery of a new source of Energy Points. Although this 'Qi Cube' was less efficient than the recovery serum, the sheer quantity of them was enough for him to continue on with his qi cultivation.

Nonetheless, he was not in a hurry to use them up. There was a total of 25,060 qi cubes in his consciousness space. Next came the hundreds of white bottles lying around on another side. They were about the size of his fist each filled with ten green colored pills, the size of a rice grain.

Meng Tian removed the cap of a bottle and took out one pill. He felt the wood elemental energy from the pill and thought back to the recovery serums that he had. Although the packaging was a bit different, these medicinal bottles should have the same function.

Hence, he did not hesitate to pop one pill into the mouth of his soul body and as expected a prompt showed up.

"Hahaha... Another jackpot. There are hundreds of these white medicinal bottles here. From what I have encountered till now, there are three efficient sources of Energy Points- Recovery Serums, Qi Cubes, and Pills. But it won't be easy to find such a huge quantity of them again. I am also yet to find out the effect of kill points on my cultivation."

He currently had a total of 991 pill bottles. Meng Tian moved onto the other miscellaneous items that he had gotten tonight. There were actually tens of weapons lying around, stocked and separated into swords, spears, sabers, etc.

There was also a small wooden box filled with twenty gold ingots each weighing one kilogram. It also included a million yuan of paper currency, probably for the various expenses of the base.

There were also two unique metal tokens- one from the dead Young Master Diao which looked like a family crest type of thing. The other token was obtained from the dead Martial Warrior at the Foundation Establishment Realm. There were only two words written on the bronze token- Green Devil.

The only things remaining that he had not sorted out were a set of books, and the nineteen dead cultivators' bodies.

Meng Tian had long since decided to get rid of the bodies of his enemies, but could not find a suitable place to do so. So, he just transferred them into his consciousness space as he was concerned that some powerful cultivators could track their auras or something else.

He did not know what to do as his soul body moved closer to the dead bodies. He suddenly had an idea as he waved his hand to gather fire elemental qi into his palm. It was a small compressed fire qi ball which he threw on one of the bodies in the consciousness space.

The body was immediately set into flames and burned into nothing within seconds. However during this process, a strange black smoke was emitted. His Soul body willed the black smoke to gather together and a small ball of black smoke was obtained.
