The Sacrificing of the soul is due to the fact that the jutsu is only used once. Due to this the person using it will only be able to use it at a very low level which causes the soul to be sacrificed to make up for lack of comprehension. You can summon the Shinigami for no consequence since you will use it at SSS rank.

"I 'Invented' My own sealing language. I wouldn't want others to be able to crack any of my seals" I say while thinking. 'All I have to do is write in English not Japanese and nobody in this world can translate it without any other reference.'

'Oh my goodness, does Lord Hokage know about this? It could be revolutionary'

"No, I decided to keep it to myself. I'm really glad I did as I don't know how he is gonna react to Lord Madara's news. Before I left after talking to Lord Madara he had walked in the door."
