Katie got home around six that morning. Not long after she had told Aiden her name, he had passed out at the table. She doubted he would remember any of the things she had said. He was far too wasted to have a memory. She, Sean and Brody had brought him home. Her cousins had loaded him in the back of the van and Brody had trailed behind her as they drove him home. It was roughly an hour after he'd passed out. She waited in the van while the men rang the door bell and waited for Emily to open it. She had the window of the van cracked so she could hear the conversation.

"Jesus!" Emily grumbled as she ran a hand down her face. "I'm sorry guys. He gets like this a couple times a year..."

"Yeah. We know all about it." Sean snorted and Emily glared at him.

"He's a little worse off than normal this time, Mrs. Lawrence." Brody sighed, looking back at Ari. "He sort of got worse when he saw her. My cousin Ari." He nodded for her to come.
