There was no convincing Aiden that being separated from Katie in any way, shape, or form was a good idea.

"It would just be out in public Aiden." She stated, "We would still be together at home. We would still talk everyday by text."

"No, Katie." He stated firmly, fists clenched and eyes squeezed tight in an effort to calm himself. "I don't care what Emilia and her family decides to do and I don't care what CPS does. I'm not staying away from you in public or private. If they want you away from Gage until he's eighteen...fine. He can stay at the apartment when the rest of us visit you until then. He'll be seventeen in a month so that's a little over a year. He'll probably video chat you everyday regardless of what they say, anyway."
