I was watching Eri she was wearing a hospital gown something my mother would surely notice so I looked through my old clothes for something in her size I would have to buy her something for her soon.

So I woke her up she was apparently sleeping very well I didn't want to wake up to something about clouds and unicorns.

I thought it was a bit funny but I needed to create an alibi so I changed her as carefully as I could without lifting her and covered her bandages.

I could only think of one story to cover Eri's adoption I had the papers but my mom was sure to ask why I adopted her.

I was nervous I had just finished dressing her her bandages were not visible even if my mother could see them.

"Oh izuku you shouldn't worry I know you have a hero's heart I would help everyone I can plus it will be nice to have a little one around the house I already want to start dressing her up."

"This one about that mom I must tell you apparently at the orphanage the other kids didn't like her because of her hair and eye color she has some bandages I will take her for some checkups to make sure everything is ok with her these days."

Still in her arms I spoke I felt more repulsed than when I did my first job I wanted to let go but if I hugged her it was so comfortable and safe it was contradictory

"Don't worry son I will help you after all I know you did it for a good reason" she said as she brushed my hair with her hand.

So I let her go and gave her my smile and went to the kitchen to continue cooking.

She asked me where I was I could only tell her that I was asleep apparently she was in a comfortable place and sleep won her over.

I asked her how it went with Aunt Mitzuki and she said it was fine, just reminiscing about old times.

It was quiet with me cooking and my mom helping even though I told her to rest she wouldn't listen to me.

When we finished cooking I went up to my room Eri was still asleep but she needed to eat.

I approached her and gently woke her up she looked confused as to where she was until she saw me hugging me like a koala bear.

"I see you are a little calmer now, I have prepared food do you want to come downstairs with me?" I said trying to sound calm so as not to scare her.

She just nodded but she didn't jump out of my embrace so I carried her downstairs and my mother saw me with the little girl in my arms and gave me one of her characteristic warm smiles.

I tried to convince Eri to let go but she wouldn't let go so I sat down with her to eat.

"Mom this is Eri the new member of our family".

"Little girl don't be shy eat as much as you want" she said smiling lightly.

Eri just looked at her and then at me.

She just looked at the food and slowly tasted it, it was katsudon, the house favorite.

She brought her spoon to her mouth and it was a sugar explosion it was sweet it tasted good.

And she smiled as she began to devour it.

We just laughed lightly my mom because it reminded her of when I first tasted it and me because it was my favorite dish I was glad she liked it.

So the meal passed quickly as Eri and I devoured katsudon while my mom made Eri feel more comfortable with her which was quick it only took one hug from her to make me adore her and not want to let go.

It got to the point where she fell asleep in his arms so I had to leave her on my bed while my mom and I watched movies. It was such an everyday thing but I was glad to be with her and that she accepted that I would adopt her without warning.

When Eri woke up she joined our movie time.

We had dinner together and Eri ate more comfortably and slept with mom that night.
