The Great Betrayal

The ultimate warrior, as someone with unstoppable strength, and an indomitable will, Zhang Xinran was destined at birth as the rightful heir to the Emperor of the Great Zhang Dynasty.

Zhang Xinran fought for hundreds of thousands of years as the right hand of the his father, and the Emperor of the the Great Zhang Dynasty, Emperor Zhang Ming, fighting to conquer the Nine Heavenly Realms, and with the help of his Heavenly army and his ever-faithful Heavenly generals, he was able to lead the charge to subdue the heads of each of the Nine Heavenly Realms, and bring them into the Great Zhang Dynasty.

Zhang Xinran was a genius only seen once in a million years, admired by the countless youth within the Nine Heavenly Realms. With the iron fist of Zhang Xinran, and the sage ruling of his father, peace, which was something previously unseen within the Nine Heavenly Realms was achieved, and it stayed that way for tens of thousands of years.

However, on one fateful day, all hell erupted. Forces from rebellious groups had made their way into the capital city of the Great Zhang Dynasty, and were prepared to lead a charge against the empire that had been built, and had kept the peace of the Nine Heavenly Realms for so long. Ultimately, a gruesome battle ensued with countless deaths on both sides, and the heads of the rebellion were found, and they were publicly executed for acts of treason against the empire.

However, prior to their deaths, they revealed to the public that they were in fact being manipulated by Zhang Xinran, the Imperial Heir to the Throne, whom they accused of wanting to usurp his father's power, and reign the Nine Heavenly Realms by himself.

The emperor, when he heard this news brought his son before him, and questioned whether or not there was validity in this. Zhang Xinran vehemently denied any involvement, but then his brother, Zhang Xinrong, whom he fought alongside with during the conquest of the Nine Heavenly Realms testified against him, saying that guards around the palace had checked his chambers and found evidence of a map of an underground tunnel, and letters from the rebellion group.

Furious to hear of his son's betrayal, Emperor Zhang Ming told the Imperial Guards to arrest Zhang Xinran and bring him to the Immortal Desecration Cliff where he would be executed.

Zhang Xinran, as soon as he heard his brother's testimony against him, knew this was a big setup, and he realized that this had to be a plot to oust him of his spot as the rightful heir to the throne. Although he was being brought to his death by the guards, he vowed that if he made it out of this alive, he would come back to exact revenge on his brother. A couple days pass, and then he is put up for execution, and slowly as he begins to die, Zhang Xinran hatefully looks to his brother, and then passes on.
