After the whole class was empty the elder tapped on the academy token in his own hand to call elder Fryer and after some time, an elder with red hair and pointed nose came into the room.

The elderly professor saw him entering he started to explain Knave what all the fuss was about.

He first explained what had happened yesterday after his test was checked, after hearing all that the Elder had to say he was quite shocked to know that he had been selected so early to become a disciple of the Alchemy expert of the academy.

But soon the surprise was replaced by delight as this indirectly paved his way to the Alchemy knowledge which he had been reading about for the last two months.

As he was thinking elder Fryer said, "Kid I know you are quite alarmed after hearing all this but do not worry as this is all too common, we the elders select a personal disciples after going through various criteria but the main criteria for selection are divided into three points,

First, you should be someone who has a straight record and not someone from the Demon sect

Second, you should have the thirst for knowledge, to wish to know more is one of the points which lead to great cultivators

Third, luck to be picked by us." after saying that the elder Fryer looked towards me and smiled.

"And you kid have fulfilled all these requirements but that was not what truly made me take you as my disciple.

You may not know but for the last 4 to 5 months I had been researching on a new pill and for it, I had stayed inside the library for a long time, and so for the last two months, I have been seeing you enter the library, stay and learn about alchemy all by yourself.

You may think that it is not strange for students to come and learn in the library for two months, it is true but you see I could see that in the last two months you had been specifically learning from one book for alchemy.

This book is only used by those who do not have any knowledge about alchemy and are trying to learn the basics but to even them one week is enough to get bored and start with another but you have been reading and trying to understand it for 2 months, this is what attracted me as I did the same when I first tried to learn alchemy when I first entered this Academy, so the main reason for me taking you as a disciple is that... I like you.!!" the elder said while nodding his head as if praising himself for making such a decision.

Listening to the elder's explanation Knave could sum up elder in one word that was moody, this type of people like to live in the moment and do whatever their heart desires without thinking about the consequences.

This type of people only have 2 outcomes for their future, First, they become great because they work hard and has a lot of fortune on their side or they die because of their way of doing things.

Seeing that the elder seemed to be doing fine and looking at his self-content smile he could tell that the elder was from the first category.

" Elder I am very grateful for this opportunity that you have given me to study under you and start with my Alchemy career but I have to ask my sister before I can accept you as my Master!!" said Knave while bowing his head.

He wanted to learn from the elder and get more benefits but he didn't want to upset his sister Vanessa as he didn't know what kind of plans his sister had for him, she might be happy for him to be accepted as a disciple or she might have already have selected a mentor for him so he wanted to consult her before arriving at any answer as he still had not forgotten what Elder Prune had said and how he had emphasized on the importance of Vanessa, so he wanted to give his answer after consulting with Vanessa.
