"You are late Lina, the lord can not be made to wait like this."

Lina who had walked past him stop and turned towards him.

"The lord has not once complained. What gives you the right to say that to me?"

The man almost choked from anger when he heard her and say the smug look on her face.

" What? Cats got your tongue?" she said, bracking into a laugh at his facial stiffness and walking away in a Victor's halo.

" You should stop messing around with my house keeper, you know he doesn't like you." came the voice of Lord Ram from atop his jade cultivation bed with his eyes still closed.

At this point, Lina had gotten infront of the jade bed and knelt before her true Master.

" I know he doesn't like me master but he's just too cute, making him fun to tease."

Lord Ram opened his eyes and smiled in amusement form the look of mischief in little trouble maker's eyes.

"Hope he does not came after you with a broom in the future."

The thought of house keeper Su coming after her with a broom made them both laugh.

"Daughter, what news do you bring?" these words made the atmosphere immediately solom.

"He has killed all but two of the children of Dracon's line. The old master, whom he keeps to torture and an excaped child he has yet to find.?"

In deep thought, Lord Ram made a sign for Lina to continue.

"Although his revenge is almost done he has become more unstable and I fear father may need another candidate in his stard."

Lina said to her Master and godfather, giving him full details about what has been going on for a while in the human realm."

"I have heard you my child, go back and monitor him. Make sure he sees no flaws."

Jina got to her feet, bowed and accepted her masters words.

"Yes master, I live."

Lord Ram nodded and closed his eyes siminly to got back into ciltivation. A shadow walk from behind him and stood at the edge of the light and saluted .

'I she on the path as planned' he asked the shadowman.

'Yes my lord, all is going as planned.'

'Good, leave.'

The shadowman bowed and left.

Sone after, the house keeper came in sited himself next to the lord and placed his head on his shoulder.

"you spoil that girl too much, she is becoming too haughty." Lord Ram looked at his sulking lover, kissed and tried to comfort him.

"She is just a chess piece, pay her no heed."

House keeper Su or So Lin got up from the bed, back facing his lover and master as he disrobed. He joined the lord back on the jade bed and there bodies combined.

'Random ally.'

"Can we meet elsewhere next time, I hate places like this."

"I will pick a better place next time." the other just snorted.

"How did it go?"

"He seems displeased with Mr. C, so we may have a shot in the near future."

"I hope you are right."

The other became angry and looked at him sharply, she did not believe that he just said that.

"Are you doubting me?"

"What? No, I dare not?"

"well it better stay that way." she said to him, turned and left not caring if he had more to say to her.

The remaining one sighed and also left.
