2. Wolves

Alpha Raven in wolf form run through the dark forest with his Beta and five pack warriors on his tail along with the third child of the Beta's family Ian in the front leading the way.

They run with hast towards where Ian calmed to have seen the human woman and child. Honestly Alpha Raven had his doubts, how brave or stupid did a human have to be to tread this far into a deadly forest like this one, along with a child at that?

If he didn't know Ian would not pull such a joke, he would have dismissed it as falsehoods .

"Are we there yet? How far away are they?" the Alpha asked Ian through mindlink.

"we are almost there Alpha, just past that tree." Ian said with a slight shudder at the Alpha's irritated tone.

"speed up." commanded the Alpha through mindlink.

Everyone put more power in to there speed, for they knew there were two lives on the line.

'A while back'

As the Alpha and Beta had started discussing about pack management and matters, that is, after the Alpha had had his fun teasing the frustrated brother - con Beta, the door suddenly burst open.

In entered the prodical son Ian, breathing heavily like he had run a long way which was uncommon among werewolfs, the face of both the Alpha and the Beta changed.

They both were not happy about the intrusion, the lack of respect it entailed and the unkept way Ian clothes looked. Time was obviouse he had put it on hurriedly.

Ian, who was trying to catch his breath felt imminent doom from his brother and the Alpha if he did not explain himself right away.

"please listen to me before you say anything." Ian said as he lowered his head in sabmission from the intense persure.

Alpha Raven and Beta James gave each other a look, then the beta gave Ian the go ahead to speak.

As if he had been given amnesty Ian started speaking rapidly about the human 'mother and child' duo he seen and the woods and bad there situation looked.

Beta James looked at his brother in shock and would have doubted him if not for the worry he saw in his brother's eyes.

"Humans, this far into the forest seems impossible.... but we have to go make sure." The Alpha looked at his Beta and gave orders to get some warriors, so they could go take a look. Who knows if it's all a plot against there pack.

'Back to the present'

The Alpha and the people with him stood in front of the almost frozen duo in shock and anger, shock that a human could walk this far into their territory and anger over all the injuries on the woman's body, it looked so cruel.

One of the warriors, a she-wolf knelt down to check closely if the duo were really alive when the woman's eyes shot open and she garbed the she-wolf's had saying in a low tone.....

"Please save my young master", again and again until she passed out again.

They all then turned to the Alpha.

Alpha Raven looked at them and told them to put the duo to their backs and heard for the pack hospital.

The Alpha carried the child while any unmated strong wolf carried the woman and they turned to the pack at moderate speed for fear of harming the already fragile humans.
