To the Depths of Despair

There was once a kingdom named Ashfall. It was a calm and peaceful kingdom with a generous King. The king's name was Albert he's been on the throne for a good 5 years. Since his ascension into power, he has made the kingdom a much better place. Ashfall didn't focus on military strength but in their knowledge. It was known for having some of the top scholars in the world studying within the kingdom's academy. Ashfall was a rising kingdom gaining influence throughout the world. This kingdom is home to a special boy who will one day shock the world in the future. Though the people of this kingdom don't know about it. His name is Esu Sky he was born into a common family that lived in the capital of Ashfall. He was a bright and happy child whose parents love him very much. Then came the day that changed everything. It was horrible the kingdom of Ashfall was attacked. This attack came out of nowhere and caught the whole kingdom of guard. Blood filled the streets of the capital with even the civilians being slaughtered. The king and his men tried their best to hold off the invaders from killing the fleeing citizens. His efforts helped a few escape the capital but in the end it was pointless. For what he did not realize was that this was happening all over the kingdom. Those from other cities and even villages throughout the kingdom were being attacked all at once. Ashfall was on the verge of collapse Everyone was being killed and, in the end, even the King fell. Soon after the rest of the Kingdom fell the capital was on fire and the castle falling apart. The sun came up shining light on what was once a beautiful kingdom. There was nothing but corpses, ash and rubble not even a trace of life was left. During all the chaos there was a boy who managed to survive.
