20.TATIANA
THIRD POV .
PRESENT DAY .
"As I live and breathe , who would have thought you would survive this far ",said one of the members as she looked at them .
"Hello Tatiana ",said Aubrey .
"I thought you wouldn't survive that night love ",said Tatiana as she chuckled .
" Me too but here I am ",said Aubrey as she walked to where Tatiana was standing .
Riley could not understand how the two of them k ew each other but from how they talked to each other it seemed that the last time they saw each other wasn't as pleasant as they would have wanted it to be .
" Am sorry how do the two of you know each other ? ",Riley asked them.
" We just knew each other some time back nothing serious ",said Tatiana as she looked at Aubrey keenly.
She had changed , she was nit that boujee girl she had seen at the hotel anymore . She was wearing a combat trouser and boots .
Her hair loomed dirty but the ponytail did her magic because she was as beautiful as the day she had first seen her .
The gun on her waist band also made her look bad ass and she wondered if she really knew how to use it or was it just for show .
"Do you know how to use that ?",she asked as she moved closer to Aubrey .
"Want me to shoot you so you can verify ?",Aubrey asked her .
"Oohh so you even got a sense if humor now ",said Tatiana as she chuckled and circled Aubrey .
It was then that she noticed the bag she was carrying was full of guns .
"What do we have here ?",she asked as she attempted to take the bag and in a split of a second a gun was pointed at her .
She turned to come face to face with Riley . Aubrey had really upgraded from the last time she had seen her .
"You even have tough friends now ",she said as she raised her hands in surrender and moved back .
"We don't have time to stand here and watch you two rekindle your hatred in each other we need to take a couple of things and go back . Now if you would excuse me ",said Riley as she started walking around the mall and was stopped by a young boy who seemed to young to be pointing a gun at her .
"Not so fast princess , if you want food from. here you have got to leave the bags behind ",he said as he pointed to the bag she was carrying.
"You can't be serious this is a mall for everyone you don't think am going to give you this bags for food I'd rather go look somewhere else ",Aubrey said as she turned around .
"That is if you leave here alive and if you think I can't shoot you're gonna be shocked ",said the boy as he chuckled .
"Am not shocked I was a perfect shot at your age ",she said as she smiled and without any notice knocked out the boy .
"So now we could either do this the easy way or the hard way ",said Aubrey as she raised her guns .
" What is the hard way ?",asked Tatiana as she pulled out her gun and pointed it at Aubrey who didn't look shocked at all .
Riley opened her mouth to speak and noticed there were people coming inside the mall. She let out a sigh of relief as she saw it was Glen and the others .
"The hard way is that we leave here with everything we want and all we're gonna leave behind are lifeless bodies ",said Glen as she came behind Tatiana and pointed her gun at her .
"You don't look stupid and I know you already know that if we go fine the hard way then you're gonna loose . First if all you're outnumbered . There is only three of you and one is already down , the other one looms so scared I doubt he's ever shot a gun before ",said Riley as she looked at the young boy who was pointing a gun at her .
"Do you always walk in parks like this ?" asked Tatiana laughing and lowered her gun .
The other boy took it as a sign and dropped his gun too.
"Yeah we do now I would love to stand here and chat all day like some old girlfriends but we're on a timeline ",said Glen as she took a cart and started taking things off the shelves .
"Where do you guys stay ?",asked Tatiana .
"In a camp at the forest why?" Riley asked her .
"What if I tell you I have somewhere safe that you guys can stay ",said Tatiana .
"What's the catch you just can't give us a place to stay just like that ?",asked Glen .
"Well I can defend myself but sometimes it's hard being all alone out here and I need people who I know I'll have my back and you guys look like you could have my back so I show you this place and we all stay together ",said Tatiana .
" This place that you know of how many people can it accommodate ?"asked Glen inteeested now .
" It's a neighborhood it can take even a community ",said Tatiana .
" There are more of us at the camp and we just can't make decisions for them we need to ask them first ",said Riley .
This was a bad idea and she did not want to be a part of it .
" Oh hunny anyone would take the opportunity if given ,rather sleep in a bed than in the woods where you have to keep one eye open ",said Tatiana .
" Okay we will go check it out first and then we can go tell them and see what they say ",said Glen .
" Are you just going to make decisions for us without even asking us ? ",Riley asked her .
" I didn't say we were going to live there we are just going to check out the place and then from. there we'll see what happens what's so wrong with that ? ",asked Glen looking confused .
She thought they all wanted to leave the forest and find somewhere safe ?
