Chapter Sixty-Four
Hearing the crunching sounds as all eight creatures flew whichever way and formed one with the walls and ceiling, she quickly stood and continued running down the hallway.
A few minutes later, she reached a beautiful twirling staircase. Without hesitation, she raced towards the beginning of the stairs. But before she could take another step, her breath was knocked out of her lungs. That was because of a powerful kick in the middle of her back.
Feeling herself falling, she flexibly twisted her body and raised both feet. Upon seeing her assaulter grinning like a fool behind her, she kicked her assaulter smack in the face before jumping backward.
Fast reflex, she used a ball of air to keep her afloat. She gripped tightly onto the railing. Pivoting herself to sit on top of it, she slid down to land perfectly on both feet.
