Chapter Seventy
Without the ability to use her techniques, she was rendered useless. The dark and murky water was mocking her.
She felt like she was dying, the oxygen in her chest diminishing.
And to make matters worse, she felt a tremendous kick in her abdomen.
The horrendous pain caused her to scream, and as a result, she swallowed a large amount of water before finally breaking the surface. Coughing out the salty substance, she forced herself to remain afloat, but the rough waves were threatening to drown her once more.
Her eyes rolled back in her head when there was another kick in her abdomen.
She was contracting a month before her due date, and it was happening at the wrong moment of her life.
After numerous attempts, she broke above the water again and hungrily breathed in the fresh but stale air into her lungs.
