The Human system! Humanity's last hope.

After waking up in an unknown place, our protagonist, Amon Daisetsu, find himself face to face with someone he never expected to meet, it's none other than one of his favorite characters from a certain manga called records of Ragnarok, he then sees himself getting offered a deal. This deal will sign the start of his new life. Warning: please don't expect a perfect mc from day one, I plan to make this story as realistic as I can, so he will have his own personality, his own strength and weaknesses and will be constantly evolving throughout the story, if you can't understand that much then please do not even bother reading a single chapter. This will be a multiverse story so expect a few world travels. Also this isn't a harem story nor do I think there would be any romance at all and even if there is it won't be a main part of the story. **Disclaimer** -all copywriter content is the property of its respective owner(s).

Getting ready to leave

[Congratulations for completing the side quest "Beating up some Yakuza"!]

[Would you like to receive your reward?]

[Yes] [no]

After getting back home I finally took the time to take a nice look at the new system notification which I received after beating up that masked man.

'Yes'

[Congratulations on obtaining 20 F class chests!]

[Congratulations on obtaining 5 E class chests!]

[Congratulations on obtaining 1 D class chest!]

It was hard to hide my excitement as to what those chests might hold. It was totally worth it to risk it by fighting that giant. It was my first time fighting against someone so strong and dangerous but now that I see the rewards I couldn't help but smile to myself.

It was my first time getting a D rank chest. There were so many great D rank items that I couldn't help but get excited, no matter what I get I know it'll be an amazing item.

Though I still I started by opening the 20 F class chests.

[6× 1000 yen!]

[9× energy replenishers!]

[1× strength amplifier! ]

[2× charisma amplifier!]

[1× intelligence amplifier!]

[1× 100 skill exp!]

'not too bad.' I immediately used all the stats amplifiers. Those were always useful but the shop was running short on them so I had to do world quests in order to gain more of those.

[Strength: 23-> 24

Intelligence: 16-> 17

Charisma: 14-> 16]

I then used the skill exp on my Eyes of the Lord skill. No matter how many times I thought about it, this might be the most useful skill to improve.

[Eyes of the Lord: lvl 33-> 36]

The reward for the F class chests were pretty satisfying, I would've usually been way more than happy with that, but I knew there were some better rewards awaiting me.

It was now time to open the E class chests.

[Congratulations for obtaining a fear reducer!]

[Congratulations for obtaining 10.000 yen!]

[Congratulations for obtaining a height booster!]

[Congratulations for obtaining a fear reducer!]

[Congratulations for obtaining a fear reducer!]

Surprisingly enough the E class chests were the most disappointing. Those were very great items, the fear reducers were useful and getting 10.000 yen wasn't bad either but I could've got way better items.

I stored the 3 fear reducer and 10.000yen and then used the height booster on myself. I didn't mind becoming 172cm, the height booster was 100 coins so it was still an amazing item but I would've preferred obtaining something more useful.

After taking one last look at the system shop I couldn't help but curse my luck, out of all the things I could've got I gained the last height booster available in the shop.

Luckily I still had one D class chest to open. I hoped that was my very first D class chest would raise my mood. Especially since I knew that in there nothing could be disappointing to me, every single D rank item is worth getting.

I hurriedly opened the last chest in my possession while hoping for it to not be money. I didn't mind getting more money but I didn't have any use for it.

[Congratulations for obtaining a D rank skill!]

'Whaaattt? A D rank skill?' I immediately clicked on the said skill. I didn't even get an E rank skill so I couldn't help but be curious about what that skill could be.

[Ambidextery (Rank D/ lvl 1)

Description:

F rank:

Allows the user to become a little more ambidextrous with his left leg.

E rank:

Allows the user to become a little more ambidextrous with his left arm.

D rank:

Increase the user's overall Ambidextery.

Exp required for level up: 1000exp

Current exp: 0/1000

Upgrade: unlocked at lvl 100]

Not only was it my first D rank skill, it was actually a very useful skill. With that, I had the potential to become fully ambidextrous which would in turn drastically increase all my fighting abilities.

Other than that it was also very convenient for my every day life. Just by possessing the skill I could feel that I had more control over my own body.

Funnily enough I received my first D rank skill before even getting an E rank skill, though I wouldn't complain about that. A D rank skill was worth 5.000 coins in the shop.

Now with all the rewards I've received I was way more confident about my first world quest, and I still had 1 week to get ready before the big escape.

All I have to do for now is to simply focus on my martial art training, especially my weapon mastery with Shigure.

--------

*1 week time skip*

"It's finally time for me to leave, today is the day of the trial. And as much as I love juvenile prison I think I'll be skipping this part hahah" I said to my masters with a big smile on my face. I didn't want to leave them with a sad look on my face.

"Do you really have to leave? Can't you just stay in the dojo and hide in here?" Kenichi asked, he was the one who was obviously the saddest about my departure, just by looking at his eyes I could tell that he have been crying last night.

"Yes, I don't plan on causing any trouble to the dojo, everyone here helped me tremendously and I'm very indebted to you all, but don't worry, if everything goes well I'll be coming back every now and then to say hi" I said with a sly smile.

"You better come back often. If the police annoys you I'll personally deal with them hahahahaha." Sasaki was now way more warm towards me.

"Have a safe trip, kiddo."

"Call me if you need any help in the future, you'll always be welcomed in China."

Akisame and Ma Kensei also said their goodbyes to me. I couldn't help but get sad thinking of how today would be my last day seeing them in a while.

"Take... Care.." Shigure said her last words to me while also looking down in sadness, she lost her first disciple so I could understand her.

"Don't you dare forget this dojo's teachings in the future. You should only use your fists for the right reasons." Before I left Hayato also left me his last words which sounded more like a warning than anything else.

"As you wish, grandpa." I replied with a smile. Even if he acted tough I could see that he was also sad to see me leave.

I then patted kenichi on the shoulder then bowed to my masters one last time and left the dojo.

"Let's spar when you come back!!!" I couldn't help but laugh listening to Apachai's loud voice. I was already outside of the dojo but it seems like he only know understood that I was really leaving.

--------

As soon as I arrived back home I immediately fell down face first on my bed, goodbyes were way too exhausting for me.

In that week I managed to improve all my martial arts a little more and was even taught karate by Sasaki. I also finished the "learning martial arts" side quest and obtained the F rank mixed martial arts skill so now I didn't have any more fear about going to a different world.

That skill helped me improve my martial skills and made me a little more talented which was already pretty helpful considering it was only an F rank skill.

I knew that in term of strength I didn't have to worry too much but now that the time came for me to leave I couldn't help but have more questions to ask.

"System, when I arrive there would I still have a home? And would I also have an identity which would allow me to go to school?" If things are like my first time in this world then it will already be way easier for me.

[No. The housing and identity is only given in the base world. It is still possible to get that treatment but the host would have to pay extra coins.]

"How many coins?" I didn't want to waste my coins on that but it would be extremely useful.

[100.000 coins for the housing and 10million coins for identity]

"Haha... I think I'll pass on the offer." For now I couldn't imagine getting 1.000 coins let alone a hundred times that amount. I knew getting a whole house and identity wouldn't be easy but still...

"And when would I arrive to that world? At which part of the timeline will I appear?"

[The host will be arriving at the moment where the zombie virus will make the first infected person as well as 1 week before the virus evolved and started to become known to the world.]

What? So the virus already made its first victim 1 week prior to the start of the start of the story? Was the virus just a normal virus at the start?

That also meant that I'd have to spend a whole week homeless.. Just thinking about it is exhausting.

I would've liked being able to at least book myself a hotel room but I'm still only 15 and won't even have an identity in that world so that's impossible.

Well that's still better than having to deal with juvenile prison, I'll just have to think of it as some survival experience.

"System can I bring some things with me?" If I can bring a tent that would be very helpful.

[The only belongings of the host which will be transferred with him to the new world will be his clothes as well as the system objects stocked in the inventory.]

Well then so be it. I didn't have time to complain so I went to go change into some nice sport clothes and was thinking of what else I should wear but got interrupted by the sound of someone knocking on my front door.

*knock knock* the sound didn't stop and only kept increasing in frequency.

I knew very well it wouldn't be Kenichi since he would still be at the Ryozanpaku at this hour. I tried taking a look out of the window hoping that it might be one of my old classmates coming to tell me one last goodbye but before I did so I heard a sound coming from the other side of the door.

"Mister Amon! It's the police, please open the door. We will be accompanying you to the trial place." An unknown man's voice informed me.

That was my sign to leave the place, I didn't expect them to come so soon. I used the little bit of time I had left to erase every trace of me being here, then checked the old system notification I've been disregarding until now.

[Do you wish to accept the world quest and travel to universe 3G429/ world 426?]

[Yes] [no]

I took one last look at my apartment and then clicked on yes. As soon as I did that, my vision started getting extremely blurry and I could feel all my strength leaving my body.
