Episode 21: The Uninvited Rhinoceros
UPON HEARING THE good news, Prince Kyanite ran upstairs and pushed open the floor-door, unintentionally hitting the face of the man.
He climbed up, dropped to his knees, and held both of the other’s shoulders. “Oh my God, I’m so sorry! Are you okay?”
“T-This subordinate is alright, Your Highness. Please do not kneel,” he replied while holding his nose that bled a little.
“This is awkward.” Crown Prince Bowie chuckled, eyeing the two as he climbed up. “Kyanite, I think you forgot him but this is Iman, the head of my subordinates.”
“Oh?” Prince Kyanite let go of Iman’s shoulders and, still kneeling, bowed down his head. “I apologize more for hurting you!”
Iman panicked, “Your Highness, Your Highness!” He stood on his feet and with gentle hands, he held Prince Kyanite’s arms and made him stand up. “Please do not do that again, Your Highness. Subordinates like me do not deserve any genuflect or bow from royalties.”
